    I want to see:

    1. Character Spotlights focusing on the primary robot characters. Little 30 to 45 minute films focusing on a day in the life of a particular character. With Bumblebee, they spotlight his struggles to lead the Earthbound Autobots, with Ratchet, they could show him performing an extremely difficult medical procedure under extremely dangerous conditions, or with Starscream, they could spotlight one of his attempts to overthrow Megatron. Yeah, not everyone wants to have movies about dead characters, but it's the only way underdeveloped or not developed characters can be saved at this point.

    2. A prequel movie telling the beginning of the war and how the Autobots in the movies came together. Maybe not everyone will want to see it, but it would be an opportunity to give a special Spotlight movie to Optimus and Megatron.

    3. New Autobots and Decepticons. I once expressed an interest in seeing Hound make an Autobot S.W.A.T. team with himself, a movie version of Trailbreaker, and a bunch of human soldiers, and Prowl coming to Earth and becoming Bumblebee's second-in-command. Heck, maybe they could introduce the other toyline Dinobots and another Autobot like Cliffjumper or Bluestreak, so there'd be a Dinobot for each Autobot to ride into battle.
With Optimus Prime in space, he could find a ship and form a team with Ultra Magnus, Kup, Elita-One, Hot Rod, Springer, and/or Whirl.
For the Decepticons, why not have Galvatron resurrect his former lieutenants as (Starscream) Hellscream, (Shockwave) Shockblast, and (Soundwave) Soundblaster? For some new troops, they could have Skywarp, Thundercracker, Blitzwing, Astrotrain, and/or a team of Stunticons. In space, they could have Scourge and Cyclonus with an army of genericons. Maybe even have some TFP-style Predacons (make them combine, and it will be even better. At least, those are my ideas for new characters.

    4. Don't make the creators the Big Bad. You have a universe with Megatron/Galvatron, Starscream, and Shockwave, and potentially Cyclonus, Overlord, Predaking, and Unicron. Making a bunch of thin, wiry organic creatures the main villain of the franchise would just be sad and laughable, especially considering the nature of these movies.

    5. Bring in Unicron for the big finale. Yeah, he'd be incredibly difficult to animate, but they have about four or five years. Have him be the reason the creators wanted Optimus back. He's the most powerful and dangerous villain in the Transformers franchise, and if anyone else deserves to be in a Transformers cinematic universe, he does.

Since they still need to have a TF movie franchise that actually narratively has its act together - and really, they don't have one yet - before they even think of making spinoff movies of any kind, try this:

A strange astro-temporal phenomenon has begun to spread across the Earth: humans disappearing, alien beings appearing, animal and plant life de-evolving AND hyper-evolving, extinct life forms coming back to life (yes, dinosaurs, too). Realizing that these incidents are all connected, NASA tries to determine the cause and makes an unsettling discovery: it turns out the Pillar destruction during the Battle of Chicago didn't ENTIRELY do away with the Space Bridge that brought Cybertron into proximity of Earth - it merely broke it up into a bunch of itty-bitty, virtually-invisible distortions that over the ensuing decade or so have reached the point where they can distort time as well as space, and now they're falling out of orbit onto Earth itself. Most of the distortions are still in orbit but making a slow descent; knowing the effect on Earth could be disastrous, a plan is developed to send a NASA spacecraft outfitted with reverse-engineered Cybertronian technology - the Axalon - on an intercept course that will absorb the chronometric radiation from the remaining distortions, thus effectively neutralizing them. By virtue of his experience with Cybertronian technology, Joshua Joyce is among the crew, as is an old friend of ours, Robert Epps. Also among the crew, however, is a terrorist spy hoping to abscond the collected chronometric particles for one hell of a WMD; he's discovered mid-flight during one of the initial collection phases, a struggle ensues, and the collecting array is damaged in the fight, engulfing the ship in chronometric radiation that turns into a Space Bridge...ultimately depositing the damaged craft on Cybertron...thousands of years back that way.

While the team struggles to effect the needed repairs to their ship and keep an eye on their traitor, their presence has caught the attention of, and further stoked tensions between, some other familiar faces. The Great War has only just begun, and before long Epps, Joyce and company are caught in the crossfire of the Autobots and the Decepticons yet again, even though neither faction yet recognizes any of the humans. While Joyce and Epps argue over warning the novice Optimus and Ironhide to be on guard against Sentinel Prime's true intentions, despite the fact that Sentinel has not yet reached the point where he'd be that desperate (Joyce arguing that the humans' very presence on good-ol'-days Cybertron already threatens any chance of them returning to Earth as THEY knew it), Megatron spies this as an opportunity to extend his reach beyond Cybertron well before the Autobots are prepared to cope. Matters aren't helped by the spy's escape from custody, whereupon he warns Megatron and the Decepticons of what is to come for them on Earth, thanks to the allegiance of Autobots and humans there (in a clear bid to send the Decepticons to pick off Joyce and Epps for him).

With Wheeljack's help, the collection array on the Axalon is reconfigured to generate a Space Bridge - in essence, developing the technology well ahead of Sentinel - while the Axalon's spy turns out to be a synthetic, a Pretender made of stolen Transformium (as he's destroyed he coughs a final cry of defiance: "COBRaaacckk..."). A great battle ensues to intercept the ship, but the Axalon manages to return to Earth...ah, but there's a catch. Turns out there's been a slight miscalculation in the return journey - the Axalon comes back to Earth 40 years ahead of schedule! Oh, and yeah, one other thing...the final crash-landing of the ship back on 1980s Earth has left the Space Bridge open behind them...and Megatron and the Decepticons have just come through it guns a-blazin'!

This would probably require some voice re-casting, obviously (as in the case of Sentinel Prime, sadly), but as the 'Bots and 'Cons WOULD be slightly younger than they are in the existing movies I think the GA would for the most part accept it; it would also by necessity involve re-using some TF designs from the earlier movies - Megatron's Cybertronian form from the first film in particular, which again I don't really like but it'd be necessary because of where the character is at this point in his evolution. There's obviously some "Star Trek" influences here, along with a few shades of "Alien", and a dash of Rod Serling to top it off. In any case, this would effectively address the desire for a Cybertron-based prequel while also creating an alternate-timeline that cuts down the franchise's overreliance on Space MacGuffins (since now the Allspark won't be on Earth, nor the Pillars on the Moon) and also gets rid of some of the more annoying excuses for TF characterizations (Bumblebee speaking normally instead of that damaged-voicebox-radio goofiness, Optimus being not such a hardened savage, nor Megatron such a frothing moron) and brings back dead TF characters WITHOUT going through some convoluted-and-ultimately-half-^$$ed-in-execution means of trying to resurrect them, AND cleans the slate just enough to allow for the kind of world-building that just might, y'know, actually support a shared universe of spinoff films --- the opening sequence alone, with all the strange effects on Earth by those first chronometric distortions, could easily allude to Battle Beasts and Inhumanoids well BEFORE we get to the COBRA-issue Synthoid aboard the Axalon (akin to the way the opening scene of "Superman: The Movie" with the Phantom Zone viillains set the stage for "Superman II").

They're going to have to introduce a lot of new characters before a TFCU becomes viable. Taking that into consideration, here's who I think would work best:

Windblade, for obvious reasons. She has her own ongoing, is about to become a big player in the cartoon series, and the introduction of a female protagonist will probably help the movie series get past this awesomebro attitude that has dominated it's tone in the past.

Ultra Magnus can lead the Autobots on Earth, be a strong anchor for the franchise, and deal with lots of things.

Rodimus would make a good aspiring hero, and perhaps serve as something of an audience surrogate for the more Sci-Fi-y aspects of the mythology.

We need some morally grey Autobots, and you won't find a better one than Prowl. He'd make the films more morally complex, something they desperately need.

The Combaticons or the Stunticons are desperately needed. More Decepticons, some villainous combiners, and either group would make for a cool solo movie. The Combaticons could make for an old-fashioned war movie, maybe even taking place during WWII. The Stunticons might function well in a solo Blurr movie.

To counter the 'con combiner(s), I think we'd need the Protectobots. Focus on TFs helping humans, only resorting to the punching and the shooting when they need to. Or maybe use the Rescue Bots characters and make a new combiner? I'd be down for that.

Finally, just to bolster the 'cons ranks, I would say throw in Cyclonus, Blitzwing, and Knockout. If properly fleshed out, they would be nice additions to Galvatron's newly revitalized faction. I'd also add in Airachnid/Blackarachnia, preferably in a helicopter form with a spider-like regular form. I add this in because the 'cons need a female and I'm currently watching Arachnophobia.

Finally, we need a big bad to build up to, and frankly, Unicron is it. He doesn't have to be that big, and he could have drones or possess one of the 'bots/'cons to make things interesting.

How would these movies be organized? Well, it'd be smart to jump right into TF5, introduce Magnus, Rodimus, Prowl, Windblade, and those last couple of 'cons I mentioned. I would have this one be a pretty standard action movie. In contrast to the previous TF movies, it would be good, hopefully, and tease a bigger universe.

After that, a Solo Optimus Prime Movie. He's the hero of the show, and he deserves some exploration, some quiet time, maybe a flashback to the past. Have him land on Nebulos or something so the film isn't entirely CG.

Following that, a movie about the Combaticons. Them fighting in WWII would be cool, and we could maybe get a look at the Decepticon way of life, maybe some parallels with Nazis. Could even end with them rejecting the Decepticons after helping some Allied soldiers, I dunno. I swear this isn't at all like Captain America.

Perhaps a movie based on Rescue Bots, with Blurr as a new recruit. The Rescue Bots are focused on helping people while the rookie Blurr sneaks off to races, get caught up with the Stunticons, Stunticons turn out to be bad guys, then, Combiner fight! Yeah, that sounds good.

This is perhaps the most experimental idea, but I think a Megatron Origin Film would be neat. Explore the relationship he had with Optimus and Sentinel (yes, we'd need a new voice for Sentinel), and why he became the monster he is.

I don't know if Hollywood execs would go for it, but a Windblade Solo Film would be really neat. Put her on voyage with humans and another TF or two to explore the stars. They stumble across a colony, a couple of the 'bots there turn out to be bad, and in the end in order to stop whatever weapon or big-bad they have she plugs into the colony's central hub and part of it turns in to Metroplex.

And then, as is the norm for the finale, TF's 6 and 7 would be a two part finale, with Optimus returning, tensions flaring in the Autobot ranks, Galvatron getting possessed by Unicron, Unicron destroying a planet or two, and then the final battle with the ultimate big bad.

Yeah, that's how I'd do it.

I want a MtMtE cartoon. That has just the right balance of all ages you'd want in a cartoon. It's smart enough for the teens/adults while the characters are likeable enough for the youngsters.

Preferably animated in 2d (or the current 2d/3d hybrid like in RiD).

If they manage to do a solo Dinobot movie it would be cool if they give the movie a sort of fantasy warrior vibe since the Dinobots are pretty much barbarian knights. The movie can focus on them finding a new hideout with making a new base and since they didn't talk in AOE perhaps we can have it explained that they didn't have their translators online or damaged and they get it fixed. Their enemies can be the Predacons re-imagined as the creators elite enforcers to taking care of rebel knights by taking them in or killing them. I was thinking for the music it can be on the lines of symphonic metal. If we don't get Slog,Slash, and Snarl in the movie then hopefully we'll at least get one new Dinobot which can be female even.

More of a clandestine storyline, at least on earth - these guys are robots in DISGUISE, it'd make sense if they'd act covert.

More one-offs and distinct stories - this is a chance to REALLY do something new in the confines of this universe, and I want them to take advantage of it. Give us our Guardians of the Galaxy - tie it into the main films later.

On a side note, I genuinely want to see a dialogue-heavy mystery focused almost ENTIRELY on a robot character or characters. If they do this right, we could get something AWESOME.

NOT focusing on Unicron, Primus, or any of the really big mystical stuff until later on in the series - you can talk about the Allspark or the Matrix all you want, but the really God-like stuff should be the ultimate and final doom.

    Vanessa Hudgens. Because she's bae.

A friendship (or several) between human characters and robots - it makes them seem more real if they have someone they care about, and this was actually one of the things AOE got kinda right - the interaction between Cade and Prime was done really well, and I wish they had focused on it more.

More emotional and character based stories - this doesn't mean no action at all, but fuck, some FEELING in the movie would be nice.
