good news to not see Ehran Krueggers name anywhere in there, after AoE's lurching, nearly incomprehensible plot, i really hope they take a little more time to develop a story with a clear A-B-C plotline in the future...

Isn't Akiva the guy that's basically the Feige of the TFCU? Or was he just bought on board to find the new writers?


I don't hold out much hope for a TFCU, in saying that i'm very curious as to what sort of characters/storylines they're thinking of creating. With the Wreckers, lead Decepticons and a good deal of popular Autobots all dead the options are limited in their expansion - wonder if a reboot or time travel is going to play a role to set up the TFCU.

AOE had a great plot. I hope we get a spin off film focusing on Galvatron and the new Decepticons. It would be cool if they revived Soundwave as SoundBlaster and based his design off the Takara AOE figure.

 

They can make things better.

After reading the article, I think they will be great writers for the franchise.

 

If they make a spin off film focusing on Galvatron I'm all for it.

 

Keep IDW far and away from this and I'll be happy.

My only real hope for this project is that, obviously with multiple movies and multiple writers, presumably there will be multiple directors, meaning Bay won't be directing all, if any of them. Hopefully the wreckage can be salvaged and something better built in it's place

I still stand by the fact that a reboot would be a better move for the franchise, especially if a shared universe is to be created, but we'll see how things go

 

Exactly, I dream of the day when I can walk into a movie theater and see people smiling while exiting a Transformers showing, smiling because they had a good time. Not confused as fuck as to what they jsut saw.

I may face a lot of hate but I think, right now, the Movieverse could use a break from the work of Ehren Kruger.
