I disagree. If only the characterization that is borrowed is having a character with personality as a bad guy.
I'm not sure what in the way of character development we gt of Ultron he sang a song did a dance and then dies. We got much more from characters over several movies in Transformers. He changed bodies that was about it.
Atleast he didn't scream "Argh I'm the big baddie! Fear my wrath!" as the one sided insignificant villain called Megatron and then Galvatron who still fails miserable at his plans which suck.
Agreed. Plus if Joss did Transformers he'd use his posse he usually uses like Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau...etc...etc.
I loved ultron, far more than any transformers villain. I really enjoyed lockdown at the time.. But.. The day before I saw AOU, I watched AOE.. It really exemplified how much better the marvel movies are. It's sad.. I really hope they take a page out of marvels book with this next transformers movie. This time, I want the story to be about a transformer, not a human caught in a transformers war. I mean, the avengers movie is about the avengers.. The transformers movies haven't really focused on the actual transformers. It's getting old. With the amount of money these movies make the "it costs too much for them to be the main focus" is bullshit.
Ultron as a Transformers villain is not unlike Shockwave in Dark Cybertron with the emotion tuned down a bit.
