What's your reason(s) for not wanting Bay as director again?

He also throws in so much filler that pretty soon, you are drowning in stuff that has little relevance to the story. As well, some battles that just keep going on and on but never get anywhere. The Egypt and Hong Kong battles just made me stop caring after awhile.

At least in The first film, that battle felt pretty concise...then again, I like to believe Spielberg supervised that films direction.

Here's what I don't like is romance and nasty words that's it, besides 80's cartoon wasn't the only thing there is other transformers series I noticed things in generation 1 and beast machines to much showing nipples and *shrugs*words ok enough of this

These Infinity x Infinity. I hate Michael Bay his directing style is old and boring.
The man's ruined most of Transformers as far as I know. His characterization is terrible and he tries to turn characters into something they're not.

His story for all four movies feels the same keep some dumb artifact from Megatron/Galvatron I mean really he's so predictable.

It's an atrocity what he did to Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime feels like a self-righteous, bipolar, ruthless, contradicting spoiled child who if he doesn't get his way kills everyone or everything.

I know this isn't G1, but can you at least keep the character consistent. I mean he doesn't even feel like Optimus Prime in general(When I say this I mean Optimus's from RID, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, and the Aligned continuity).

I don't find this Optimus Prime's actions to be at all realistic it just feels stupid to me. Michael Bay has stupid names for his recent plot devises, The Pillers or The Seed!!! Really, now your just making crap up.

I just wish they would reboot the whole series in my opinion would be better that way for everyone too. What Marvel is doing with their characters( That aren't Fox or Sony) is incredible and more realistic than anything Bay can ever give us.

I just want something different. Same reason I liked the TF movies to begin with, and the same reason I want them to change in style and diection now.

So, there are two types of people on this threads. The ones who hate the movie with a gut wrenching passion and only want reboots. And then those who will defend bay for no apparent reason. And here I am stuck right in the damn middle. With bay back I really don't see any growth for the franchise, that being said I do not want to wait another decade for a reboot that may or may not be a wanna be bay transformers movie and also have them leaving a story completely open ended from AOE. The writers room they have created as of now is amazing yet, as I read, I keep coming across parts that say "When we finish writing our script, we will send it off to Bay, Spielberg for script approval." What I read when I see that is. "Ok, we have made this AMAZING script, time to send it off to Bay to have it completely raped and have the story be completely ruined by potty jokes and face palming dialouge." So, yeah I am completely torn in two. My favorite idea is this. Maybe have the first Transformers movie in this cinematic universe not be directed by bay, then once people warm up to the movies again, have bay give it one last shot.

    I agree.

all 4 movies pretty much feel the same now. Especially when AOE promised the rules have changed and the only thing different is the cast and nothing else.

As much as I like some of the live-action Transformers movies, the franchise needs to move in a different direction.
