    But what an utterly random thing to do. I can't even tell what his influence was on the film.

    DOTM also had Shockwave's pet Driller, so I guess that fits the Gurren Lagaan theme well. :D

    I've never seen this dedication.

    and I don't see Imaishi as a source of inspiration for the movies. If anything it was Transformers: Animated it sort of inspired.

    too bad there were no VA's from the English or Japanese versions of Gurren Lagann in DOTM.

    Like Neil Armstrong, he didn't even make that much of an impact. So why bring it up?

    To be honest, I read the title thinking I saw 'dedicated to a' and then went straight to the link, and didn't even read what was on it.
