    I don't remember people getting this butthurt when the first movie came out.

    I mean, the Xbox 360, Mountain Dew, Furby, My Little Pony. Just off the top of my head.

    Well in all fairness, the first movie had some redeeming qualities, AOE had none. And the product placement wasn't nearly at blunt and moronic as with this one. I mean, yeah, the whole Nokia thing was stupid, but all the product placement of the first movie combined wasn't as horrible as the single Bud Light scene.

    The Furby Truck always struck me as odd...because Furbies are evil as fuck.

    which pony scene in the first movie or AOE? first movie was innocent long pre-dates MLP and bronies while AOE....too be fair that scientist was a dumbass.

    The pony in TF1 was fine. It was a "blink and you miss it" kind of product placement. I didn't even notice the pony the first time I saw it.

    The pony in AOE was groan-inducing, because it was so in your face. It was all "HEY!! LOOK AT THIS!! ANOTHER HASBRO TOY!!! GO BUY ONE TODAY!!"
