I'm sure it will have something to do with the fact that everyone loves them despite multiple Razzies and low ratings.

Well, Bay is supposedly not coming back, so who knows what's next? We can hope...

It's Paramount and Paramount doesn't do reboots. The only way to get a reboot is for some other studio to get the rights to Transformers or for a Transformers film to bomb so hard in both the US and China that Paramount is down to a choice between ending the film franchise or rebooting.

Just look at the convoluted mess of Star Trek just to say it's not a reboot even though it's different actors in the roles.

Well, at least AOE got some kind of award. Not one I would've preferred, mind you, but eh.

Anyone else notice how strange it is that this isn't news? Michael Bay's birthday is front page news. If it won a positive award, it would be front page news that very second as if the world was on fire. I mean this thing is winning the awards it deserves but no article and hidden here in the movie forum. News everywhere else.

    Just an interesting observation.

I dunno. Should it be news that some people don't like G1? Or Beast Wars?

A few people just saying they didn't like a performance isn't newsworthy.

while the movies are garbage, they are fun. and Michael Bay is far from deserving 'worst' director awards.

then again the razzies are a bunch of bs anyways.

Kelsey Grammer didn't deserve it because he wasn't bad in those movies. He was just in movies many people consider bad. I'm surprised that Kirk Cameron movie won so much because I haven't seen anything from it. It makes me wonder how bad it is, and if it will become a so bad it's good classic. Legend of Hercules definitely deserved a few.

I wish Hasbro would start doing their own movies instead of sending them out to other studios. I think that's one of the reasons Marvel is doing so good, they obviously understand their own media.

    After Disney bought 'em.

And Hasbro does do their own movies, Equestria Girls, Equestria Girls 2, and Predacons Rising.

Anyone can submit news if they feel it's worthy using the "Submit News / Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page. We do miss things from time to time, so your help is much appreciated.

As for the "awards," meh. I definitely don't think AOE was that bad, certainly not worthy of an award like this.

Grammer did the best he could with the material given - and I personally believe there should be an Oscar category for that: "Best actor in a bad film."
