Well their we have our confirmation. Pretty sure they have a director set (Michael Bay) and the whole cast set as well. Right now it's just a matter of creating concept art and new characters. They usually do that in the begining unless they take a different route. I also expect a 2017 release. You guys excited?

Pre-production can mean a lot of things. IE, anything pre-filming. So they're probably still no the development cycle.

Hoping that Magnus and Override appear. Afterwards, Swerve, Railspike, and Getaway. Two sports cars, a small truck, a big vehicle and a locomotive. So we don't get endlass sports carz gais like ROTF and DOTM.

Yes, I KNOW we only got two: Sideswipe and Dino. However, the Twins were a waste, Jolt vanished, Que and Sentinel died, and The Wreckers weren't a large focus.

 

There is already like 9 autobots and galvatron probably one villain at a time including an autobot but it depends who they choose

 

Here's to another movie with Michael Bay and a movie that can't get above 20% on the Tomometer.

Not to mention the fact that anything involving Michael Bay is already doomed to slander.

Excited for making of, yea. I'm a bit of a film buff so getting to see the bits come together is kind of fun.

For the actual film just not excited at all. I've developed a feeling that the production team doesn't care the least little bit about what I want out of a movie so it's almost impossible to get excited for more of the same, more images of who the heck is that supposed to be, and another round of waiting for movie toy shelf warmers to move out so retailers can get back to the good stuff.

Oh and the movie form fights are always entertaining so I'm looking forward to the battles between the people who see the movies as some sort crime against humanity and the people who want to act like the rest of Hollywood should shut down because there never was nor ever will be any greater achievement of the cinematic arts than the live action Transformers films.

Although with no official announcement about who the director will be it seems like it's still a fairly open question of if Bay was serious about leaving the directors chair and if he does leave the director's chair who will they get to fill that chair? Even a question of will the producers and executives allow a new director creative freedom or will they push to stay exactly the same for fear of losing the ground they gained at the Chinese box office? All fairly exciting questions right since we know nothing except Transformers 5 at some point.

I think a pretty good job was done on tf4. Felt like we got to know the robots more and there was definitely more banter between them. I feel this was helped by the lack of U.S. military so hopefully tf5 keeps the military away again.

I'd love to see the Dinobots return and speak this time.

Optimus is going to be doing some off world business which will be nice and will break up the film. Hoping the Autobots become unruly on earth and it takes the arrival of Ultra Magnus to sort them out to behave themselves and take on cons.
