I've actually been meaning to share this for quite a while. I've read the whole thing, and while some of it looks waaay further into things than it should, the writer brings up some interesting points, like the fact that maybe Megatron isn't actually the bad guy, and just wants to return life to Cybertron.

Raises some interesting questions too. After all, he never specifically states that he wants to use the cube to turn Earth's machines into an army, we just believe the protagonists when they say that.

I think it might've been from a film discussion forum, actually. Seems to have far too much profanity for a school project, and it's got responses from other users scattered about.

Doubtful. It's written informally and is several hundred pages longer than what a teacher could read.

I wouldn't exactly call it praise. I believe that roughly, more things that I felt were construed as negative were pointed out than the opposite, however it made for a pretty interesting read. Maybe not worth the time I wasted, but once I start reading something I like to finish. Some of the lines of reasoning seemed to be digging a bit too deep to find connections that weren't really there, but it did flesh out some very interesting viewpoints, particularly involving Megatron's motivations. I'd say that it's definitely worth skimming over if nothing else.

I think this was posted once a couple of years ago. I couldn't be bothered reading it then, and I can't be bothered reading it now.

 

Haha, can you even imagine! The script to ROTF was about 3 pages long and they turned that into 10 hour movie!!
