Yes, sort of. Your picture in the upper left is of the ship after the one "claw" separates off. There were originally five. The autobots took the rear-most one, leaving two on each side, as seen in your photo.
The rear one probably looks a bit different, with it being a separate ship and all, and the others aren't.
The Knights' Temenos is just a sacred area on the whole ship and just happens to be on the drop ship too. The entire ship is called the Knight Ship.
Well, we have 5 Dropships and 5 Dinobots. So I believe that each Dropship is for each of the 5 Dinobots and Optimus controls the Knight Ship.
This. I'd also like to point out that according to the special features the Knight Ship is not from Cybertron. Additionally, I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of the Knight Ship. Bay specifically mentions Lockdown's ship when asked about the future of the franchise in a conference this last summer.
Four Dinobots. This was exploration ship that was jacked by Lockdown. The Knight ship also had fighters. Basically it was a Autobots carrier version to the Decepticon motherships. Note the Knights are Autobots, Slug has a sigil and Optimus called them that. Also Hound said he always wanted to fly those dropships. One of Lockdown's fighters looked like a small scale Ark.
5 remember Slash. He was intended to be on the film but he was cut. Like the ones the decepticons had on DOTM right? You meant this one, didn't you?
In my opinion night ship has 5 dropships.i believe Each one contains something. Maybe in the next movie more Dinobots like slog or snarl could be found in the dropships. They could also contain predacons.
It was. The Knightship originally had five spiked arms. The image in the first post is from after it detached.
Yeah, on the classic poster with Lockdown on the road the Knightship behind him obviously has the fifth rear spike, it's not surprising that Sacred Area (Knight's Temenos) was in rear spike because it's the most defended area Definitely true - it could be prove of the connection between Sentinel and Knights!
That would be nice if shown in the next film. Why does it look like a Trex skull in the movie? That was a bit strange. I like this theory.
