The scene was entertaining, but I wouldn't say it was good written, because that doesn't make any sense!

I voted for AoE.

Yeah, the script's pretty wonky, there are some characters and entire scenes we could have done without, and there aren't a whole lot of transforming scenes compared to the others. It's by no means a good movie.

But I still enjoy it. (Bite me.) Plus I had a fun theater experience when I went to see it with my friend.

'07 is my close second, only because it's become a bit lackluster for me. Then DotM, I suppose. The only thing I really like about RotF is the score.

 

For a scene which wasn't sad, it seemed like Bay was trying hard to make us think it was sad

 

How is the 86 movie not in this list? I just watched AOE and man was that movie terrible... Garbage. There will never be another TF movie like the 86 movie, or another movie period as good as the 86 movie. All movies today are garbage, especially when the standard is a movie like the 86 movie. We live in dark times brothers....

 

i chose DOTM.. but a very close second would be AOE.

i think the first one is my least favorite. it seemed to have the least amount of robots, and i didn't think the story was all that great.

plus, i ABSOLUTELY HATE the ending of the first one.. sam kills megatron with the cube then prime says "you left me no choice brother".. huh?.. prime was getting his ass handed to him and was telling sam to kill him.. clearly it wasn't primes choice. ugh.. it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

also.. i LOVE that they used the line "one shall stand, one shall fall".. but right after that prime gets thrown into a building. it definitely didn't have the same impact that that line had in the '86 movie.

anyways, i really enjoyed DOTM, i thought all of the designs in that movie were killer. prime looked great, same with bumblebee, starscream, megatron the wreckers, soundwave, etc. they all looked fantastic.

i really enjoyed the twist with sentinel prime killing ironhide so out of the blue, that really had an impact. i know it didn't for a lot of us since that part was spoiled prior to the films release. but it was still a great moment.

AOE comes in at a close second because i absolutely loved prime in the movie.. it was a side of him that i've never seen before. plus, the dinobots were really cool and i think lockdown was the coolest movie villain thus far.

AOE's major downfall for me was the transformations of the human built transformers.. it just seemed like a major cop out. i really hated it. in the trailers i thought stinger's ability to do that was cool, i thought he was special.. but after finding out that all of the human transformers converted that way was a major disappointment. i mean, the transformations are probably the coolest parts of these movies, the way they disintegrate, float around, then reform was terribly lame.

i put ROTF ahead of the first one just because of how many cool scenes there were, the action was better and the CG looked a bit better.
