do you consider the KSI bots decepticons?

When this came out i was massively disappointed when I heard there were no actual decepticons in this, but human made robots. But then Galvatron broke free of human control and 'freed' all the bots. I think of it as a 'rebirth' of the decepticons. The only thing is I want to see galvatron be able to actually transform in the next one. It doesn't seem like him to be cool with staying in a human made body and keeping the name humans gave him. I'm thinking he'll follow prime into space and find Unicron who will give him a better body.

So there are absolutely no decepticons in the movie, even though the decepticon logo was on the posters?

Technically, yes. I though it was odd that they used the con logo in promotions.

They're kind of de facto Decepticons, I suppose, once Galvatron takes them over. Though as far as the toy line's concerned 'Decepticon' just means 'non-Autobot villain'.

Galvatron is still a Decepticon. He's Megatron's mind in a new body.

And Galvatron being Megatron (therefore, a Decepticon), he brings the others to life under his command. So...I'd say they're Decepticons. Not "natural" Decepticons, of course, but Decepticons nonetheless.

As for Galvatron's body, I'd like it if he kept the robot form, but have him find/fashion a new alternate mode.

Galvatron is Megatron in a new body with new things, so yes.

"Brothers" - referring to Galvatron and vehicons all being the same. As in transformation.

I'd say Galvatron is the ONLY REAL Decepticon, the vehicons are close but not.

Yes. Decepticon is a faction, not a race. Therefor, as the KSI prototypes were under Galvarton's command, and had no goals (or wills) of their own, they were Decepticons.

Galvatron is likely going to keep his name for marketing purposes, as stupid as that is. However, he hasn't kept a look yet, and they do need to sell toys. Hopefully he gets a new look for the next film. Hopefully one with a less cliche and less generic robot form and a less Optimus vehicle mode. I do hope he keeps his head tho, it looks cool. And considering DOTM, I mean that both ways. As for his transformation, morphing is probably cheaper so if it means more TF screen time, keep it.

I consider them Decepticons. Galvatron is Megatron, therefore he is a Decepticon. Those are under his direct command, therefore they are the new Decepticon army.

Or they were, before all of them died.

I was pretty sure they're referred to as Decepticons, but maybe not.

But yeah, no question, they're Decepticons, they don't need a logo. If they're evil robots under Megatron's control, it's safe to say their Decepticons.

They're Cons. Even if they're not Cybertronians or even real, living beings, I'd still call them Cons. They're mechanical beings working for Megatron/Galvatron.

Eh, they're just mindless evil prototypes. Obviously Galvatron is a Con.
