From a designers POV, this makes it sound cool. And with the fact and/or opinion on the Allspark shard being hit on Megs' head in ROTF, why not?
I explain that in this thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...ation-how-galvatron-active-without-spark.html
The hole is badass, like that guy said. I can only imagine how utterly generic the entire chest would be without it. I also like that it is a hole straight-through, and not just a circle design. Except his spark was never destroyed.
I love the garbage disposal of DOOM. It's the thing the design needed because otherwise it's a terribly generic design.
I love the hole kinda. It represents the empty evilness of villains I guess. I assume that he'll change vehicle modes by the next movie. It's highly possible that he took control of the nightship too.
But the whole point is they don't have sparks at all, though I'm not really sure how the way they transform has much to do with where in their robot mode it would be
Yeah Megatron definitely made Galvatron look the way he did. Remember this wasn't the first drone of Galvatron they had, it was something like the fifth creation as Megatron kept tampering with it so he definitely wanted Galvatron to look the way he did for a reason.
I still think megs has had no spark since tf1 kinda overloaded him. Thinking the hole is there because he had no spark to put there anyways so in true megs fashion rather than just being a simple hole he made it a weapon instead....genius. Or if i am wrong then maybe the spark is the only bit megs couldn't recreate with chromosome idea......so made the void useful instead.
Like the person above me said i dont think Megatron has had a spark since tf1, his chest hole is rin the same area as were the cube's energy entered and Maybe megatron didnt realise he didnt have a spark until he got decapitated and was still alive, I still also feel like im the only one who liked his design i thought it kicked ass.
