I'm still around. Just not much in the way I really want to comment much on right now. I really am just to the point that I'm all for a reboot with everything being fresh and new.

Plot: Sam has been committed to a psychiatric hospital as a result of the Cybertronian glyphs imprinted into his psyche.

Mikaela is now a member of NEST, whom had to go underground when Cemetery Wind was murdering Bots and humans associated with them. She's been harboring Jetfire's space bridge key and has been hiding herself and some of the unaccounted for Bots by using the space bridge to stay off Cemetery Wind's radar. Epps is with them.

Lennox is also in hiding with his family. With them is Wheelie and Chromia (having taken the guise of a Chevy Cruze).

Simmons and Mearing have been wreaking havoc in the Capitol, after learning of the Bots being hunted and killed. They've succeeded in getting any remaining members of Cemetery Wind declared as enemy combatants and the hunters become the hunted.

Upon reclaiming the Knights Temenos Ship, the 'Dirty 4' find Ratchet's perfectly preserved spark. Once they learn other Bots survived, they all reunite. Crosshairs, Jolt and a newly arrived First Aid and Wheeljack all get to work on making a new body for Ratchet. Upon finishing, they connect his spark and Mikaela uses the Allspark shard she still has to jump start Ratchet's spark. The Bots get their CMO back (his body now looking more like his TFP body).

Magnus arrives with news of Optimus and a specialized strike team, having taken on the Quintessons and winning. However, the Quints managed to somehow awaken and release Unicron. So now, they must find a way to defeat him. They discover a hidden young Prime amongst their ranks (NOT Rodimus). While Prime and his new group take on the enemy in space, and Magnus leads the battle against Galvatron on Earth, this new Prime and a handful of carefully chosen Bots set off to battle Unicron.

Hey isn't Megatron dead, oh yea well lets have this magical thing a ma jig bring him back from the dead but since we just need Megatron we will not bring back the other dead robots even though we are going to have a robot that looks exactly like one of the robots we killed in the first movie. Hey how can Sam find the information he needs? I know he could go to Robot Heaven and someone in Robot Heaven could tell him what he needs to know.

 

They don't list a source at all. I suspect they're just collecting what's already in the rumor mill and recycling it for content. (doesn't make it NOT true, but I'm still waiting for Bay to say in so many words his still done and some quote from Wahlberg besides this old one that is being applied to the present by others)

I liked Wahlberg's performance in AOE, but I don't think Transformers movies need the kind of muscle male protagonist like him. I'm here for Shia, Fox, Peltz, Reynor or any young character.

 

I hope this is true. I enjoyed all the Transformers movies for what they were, but I really feel the series needs to go in a new direction. Bring in Chip and go into Space to new planets and new Transformers and Enemies. I hope a new Director can really take it to a new level.

 

Muscle? At what point in the movie did they purposely use him for portraying muscle? He didn't really fight all that well to be honest, the American football gave him the edge against Savoy.

Wahlberg should stay, he's a good actor.

 

And whoever Directs Transformers 5, For Godsake take the stupid Love Stories out of it. It's completely useless in movies like these.

 

If they bring Shia back, I will not be watching Transformers 5..
I'm sick to shit with Shia and his bi polar fits, and claiming he is no longer a celebrity and wearing a brown bag on his head.. He needs to seek a medical professional.. Keep things as they are, keep the first 3 as they are, and make the next 2 on the new direction its in.. I much prefer Wahlberg over Shia any day..

 

Keep cade keep all current transformers and vehicons that survived that blast, clarify who is alive or not from the first trilogy, bring back lennox and epps and maybe their team to work for Joyce alongside cade and co maybe to build the protectobots, bring others transformers into the fold both good and bad, and tie everything together somehow...all four movies !! And if bay cant and wont do it but still direct the film then hasbro has a long term problem of survivability of the franchise on its hands....as if the films are crucial to garnering the interest of new fans....then surely it doesn't want to welcome them into a schizophrenic universe with a dose of psychosis on the side that changes who it is like the weather and hasn't got a clue what its just done two seconds ago....noone is sticking round or getting serious about that kind of setup

 

I'd replace Tessa and Shane with Lennox and Epps, but if it's Bay, there needs to be legs..

hate him or love him, bay has to finish the double-trilogy....TF5 would look too differently aesthetically....you can't duplicate bay...it'll feel like a true reboot when it should be winding down it's story arc...it'll be a mess..keep the band together...reboot in 2030s-2040s


the only director who can do it besides bay and we won't lose the entire feel of the earlier films is spielberg

 

We should be so lucky as to have Spielberg as a director.
