Li Bingbing's scenes were really boring, mainly because those scenes were pretty pointless.

yeah only the Elevator scene bothered me to the point where I got antsy.

Tbh the second viewing was less boring than the first for some reason and felt better paced.

Probably because you were expecting it.

I totally forgot the elevator. That shit was dumb as well. China was just bloated with pointless scenes like that and the bike chase.

I never go an see a film twice. Jesus, I know I'll be bored because I know what's going down. When I get the DVD/Blu-ray, I'll watch it once then wait a couple of months.

I almost feel bad for you. It's like you're incapable of learning from 3 previous experiences.

Well, the title and attitude of OP suggests that he or she feels that the film is so bad that unanimously there must have been been times where others were bored, like him/her.

Rather than ask "was there a point where AOE bored you?", the question posed was more abrasive.

Elevator scene made me cringe. Lesson learned - If Bingbing wants a fight scene, don't give her one.

At the beginning. They spent 20-30 minutes describing the character relationships at the farm. Could've been accomplished in 5 min or omitted since I barely care about human relationships.

I ended up watching a let'splay from my phone during the elevator scene. I was ready to leave during the magnet scene.

Though for the record it was kind of cute seeing Slug squirm around before being saved by Strafe.

This was especially painful for me too.

    It's like:

    "I got this truck."

    30 minutes later.

"Guys... I think the truck is a robot."

    Another 30 minutes later.

    "The truck is a robot."

I'm confused. Why does everyone hate the Elevator scene so much? I rather enjoyed it, I thought it was hilarious, especially Joshua's reaction to the text message.

Didn't get bored at all. Sure, some of it felt like it really dragged on, but it didn't get boring.
    Kept me entertained.

Honestly, any time before the Dino bots or Junkheap/ Twohead came in. The whole movie I was promised the Dino bots, and they were only in the last 30 minutes. Yes, I am a slight Geewunner, and I will say that the 1986 Transformers movie is still the best!

It felt so awkward. It wouldn't been fine if it was shorter like in the original script. I mean, they get there, Su literally tells Joshua like 3 times that he needs to get to the roof and the dang door on the elevator isn't closing after a minute. Why not just take the stairs at that point? And how long was the elevator sitting there in the first place since it seemed like that other guy had been there a while? Then since they're standing there for 2 minutes doing nothing it gives Cemetery Wind a chance to catch up for the forced fight scene. Then they get back in the elevator (with the door still open) and Su tells Joshua to get to the roof for like the fourth time.

I LOVE this movie but cannot stand how dragged out that scene is.

Mind you I didn't get bored though. Which is really what the thread is about. So yea, no boredom for me lol
