I posted this before, but since there's a new board category for the movie... I think the absolute coolest contest give-away prize for a fan would be a trip to spend a day or two on the set, meet the cast and crew, and get to be an extra in the movie! And get some movie schwag too. If you won this contest and were an extra, what would you want to do in the movie? For me: In a large crowd in a city, watching the Decepticons slowly appear, looming, menacing, preparing to strike. Suddenly the Decepticons move to attack the large city and the crowd, cut to me and I say: "Oh shit, what are we going to do now?!"
yeah. SW had this. i suppose they would wait to see how the movie would fare in the BO 1st. maybe they can do that for the sequels. but judging how the fan liaison (read DM) has been reacting to fans, i'd doubt it.
I think that'd be a cool giveaway for any movie, not just Transformers. Imagine, say, if the same thing had been done for Superman Returns. The winner could be the one who gets to say "Look! Up in the Sky! Is is a bird?!" That'd be so cool. Like I say, appearing in any movie for winning a contest would be the ultimate giveaway.
