Omg yes...interesting tho, no time travel this time. I wonder how they'll get their memories back....OP will probably be called in to calm things tho...and I wonder how the bots will react to the rest of the townsfolk..maybe everyone will find out they're aliens now...

 

A great referential episode to say the least. The first memory of the drive in, the meteor gas, the EMP Zone, and the other little things like Doc Green's Star Wars quote. 6 long days until we see where it's heading.

 

I had fun with this.

I hope Season 3 doesn't take too long to show up! Tho we still have 3 more eps of Season 2!

Anyone else noticed the lack of the MHQ ever since the first ep? Must be hard finding a use for it...

Also random thought... Each Bot now has that phasing tech... wonder if it'll be used again, or was it maybe destroyed in the explosion...

Another thing... I haven't seen this scene in the show yet... I wonder if it's in the next ep with Cody trying to talk to the bots that he knows them...

 

Works for me, based on the bots' eyes and expressions, has potential to be from that ep.

The Bots aren't wearing the Phase Bits when they climb out of the hole, so I guess they lost 'em maybe.

Something I hadn't noticed until this episode - Trex's eyes seem to be permanently red now. They used to only turn red when he was turned evil.

That's a reanimation of a similar clip from "Family of Heroes" which was in the title sequence in the first season. I was thinking they reanimated it because the original clip was at night.

 

It's not the same animation tho. Watch both, they're animated differently. HW's expression is different, & they're looking around confused. I'm pretty sure it's meant to mirror that scene from the first ep, as Cody is working with "new" bots again.

I know that that's a bit random, but my brother and I came up with that.

 

Great episode,but why didn't the Burns contact Optimus when they found that the bots were missing?

 

Maybe they did off camera, and he or another member of team Prime(Bumblebee) will show up near the end of the next episode (after the problem is practically resolved I'm sure) Or they could show them pictures of them together and or with Optimus and use that as "see, if you guys just woke up from your ship where did these come from?

Did anyone else think it was kinda odd though that

A) That the amnisiatic bots just accepted Optimus as the Prime? In the first episode he seemed to have to practacally spoon-feed the fact that he was the Prime now to them (granted they quickly accepted that, and being told their home is dead, but still)

B) Blades had an energizer add on and used it? I thought Doc and Boulder made them all- unless Morocco gave him that one, I can't think of how he knew about it, also I'm guessing Heatwave doesn't know he's a triple changer, so would he just kinda accept that as a thing Optimus must've done or would that make him further suspicious of Morocco?

C) Not so much odd as it is kinda interesting to note that as kids Grahm and Cody looked the most similar, I already kinda expected that (honestly when Cody breifly grew up I was already expecting his hair to darken to about that same color, and was kinda surprised they left him blonde-blonde) But that also means that about ten years before this Grahm, who is presumably the youngest of the three older siblings, was somewhere between the age of 9 and 13(maybe a smidge older if he had a late growth spurt) and that he is now at oldest 23 or 24, and isn't the online school he's going for a Masters? Wow. (Although it is also possible The mayor was just a little loopy, as he didn't seem as surprised Grahm was an adult, its also possible he just thought Cody looked like young Grahm, and that adult Grahm didn't look enough dissimilar to teen Grahm whom he had actually last seen as far as his memories go. I dunno, maybe I'm over-analyzing that bit.

I should note that because of a few things the amnsiatic mayor said I'm not convinced the device erased the memories, because unless the recyclable library had been on his to do list for a very long time, maybe they just need to activate a memory or something for it to be reset?

I dunno, maybe some of this nonsense will have to do with something, maybe not.

Also, Kade's "Heatwave's been great! No complaining... WHATS WRONG WITH HIM?" While funny was also kinda surprised he wouldn't have found that behavior immediatly strange.

And did anyone else get a mental image of Blades tackling one of the other Bots when Chase said he was "normally quite protective of the remote" as in Heatwave trying to change the channel, and Blades tacking him and trying to pull the remote back? I dunno, that just seems apropriate to me.(Oh, and literally just as I'm trying to wrap this up I have a thought, what if they re-introduce each bot to something he loves to win them over? Not expanding on that thought, but it could work)

 

A. Hard to say when the RBs were thrown into space, so they could've known about Optimus being the Prime at the time (did the Prime series elaborate when he became Prime? I don't really remember).

B. That threw me off too, but as you said, Morocco could've had one...he did take some of their tech when he invaded the firehouse that day.

C. Heh, I hear ya. Oh well, I think they wanted to keep the hair colors consistent I guess. I always figured Grahm was in his mid-20s personally, with Kade being close to 30. I can't remember if Dani is youngest besides Cody or not...

I'm sure the memories are still there, probably locked away.

Hmm...not sure, but I guess we'll see how they get the bots back...I'm betting OP comes to try to help in the last ep, probably having to explain things to the RBs.
