So why couldn't you have told us this? Why the silence? Embarassed maybe? You could have saved yourself unbeleivable grief and anger had you been up front with us about it. "I regret to inform those who are owed refunds that all refunds are on hold while litigation with Hasbro, Inc. is currently active in court. Once this situation is resolved, we will announce how and when refunds will be given." A simple email to each and every person who you owe money to, and a periodic update COULD have been done. I am extremely disappointed that you could not see such a simple thing as this.

Now we know. What next? I think you've done the first step, though it's also disappointing that we had to draw you out from the shadows like this, Sebastien, in order to get you to speak, instead of your silence. You have an obligation to those of us whom you owe money, to keep us informed, and to post updates of what's happening. Hasbro doesn't owe this to us, we made this deal with 88MPH Studios and YOU. Please keep the lines of communication open, use this board, your site and emails to keep in contact with us on a REGULAR BASIS. I think this is the very LEAST you can do. And then if and when you can issue the refunds, do so immediately, with a heartfelt apology. I think it would go a long way in repairing your reputation and relationship with this fan community.

Some may think I'm being too nice to you. But I hate battles like this. I want to see you do right by most of us, and redeem yourself in our eyes. I don't want to see people ruined by bad mistakes again. It maybe too late for the damage...but let's hope it's not too late to turn it around.

And when your finally done with the customer refunds, Sebastien, then maybe you could take a little time to pay the artists for their work that was provided to you for your book.

Yeah, the "My Paypal account is locked", then "They cancelled your 2 year+ old refund requests, not me" and then the "I'm in a legal fight with Hasbro" at this point sounds like just more "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday..." song and dance. Fact is you ripped people off, that's the message we get from the many here that feel duped, and that's the perception of the people reading this thread and the MANY THREADS that came before this have gotten, and in business you know how the saying goes: Perception equals reality. If it wasn't for the fact that I was fortunate enough to get a refund (I pre-orderred from someone else and THEY got ripped off by you) Hasbro wouldn't be the only one you'd be seeing in court.

First, people may say some pretty crappy things about wanting someone dead, but if you look at it from the other angle, it's their anger and frustration speaking. Frankly, some details on the lawsuit would be nice to find out what the lawsuit is all about.

This is really hard to believe, because if you have the funds to publish the second part, you have the money to give us refunds. Don't expect people to pre-order book #2 after so many of us have felt the sting of being ripped off. Too much bad blood will prevent others from donating their, Sebastien. You HAVE to take care of the refunds BEFORE you expect anyone to want to give you their money again.

Don't blame this on Hasbro, Sebastien. We did not make this deal with Hasbro. We made the deal WITH YOU. Regardless of your legal problems with Hasbro, you have a MORAL and LEGAL obligation to your customers. We gave you money for a product. You could not deliver that product to us, therefore you promised us our money back. That money has still not been returned, therefore you broke the trust we placed with you.

I don't want to see you as a ruined man, despite how pissed off I am at you. My anger, my frustration will only be slated when I have the refund you promised me over 2 years ago back in my PayPal account. It's as simple as that.

Poor baby, someone took your money? Now you know how it feels. If you ever think anyone is going to buy stuff from you again I would rethink that. I was one of the lucky few who got a refund, although it was $15 short at the time. Good luck in paying everyone back, douche bag! (sorry to everyone else for the harsh words, but in light of the situation, I don't htink I was harsh enough.)

And don't come in here with a sob story of Hasbro being the bad guy in this whole fiasco. You promised goods and took money, but never delivered on them. You hired artists and never paid them, what did Hasbro have to do with this? And I doubt anyone will even touch a volume 2 of this. You just need to pack up your buisness and close down, you have clearly shown an inability to properly run a buisness.

My god dood, you expect that - if what you're saying is even true - if you come out of this dispute with Hasbro with your ass intact, that people will even THINK about buying a product thats even REMOTELY related to you? Besides that, if Hasbro wins they'll prolly squeeze you so hard you'll crap dimes until everyone gets paid.

What you need to do is if you do come out of this intact, you need to pay the people that got screwed by you and then GTFO of the business and never come back.

Yup, just tuck your tail and run again, seems that is all you ARE good at. Well, that, and making excuses as to why everything is everyone else's fault, and not your own.

Closing this for what should now be obvious reasons to everyone.

To clarify, we can't even allow you to insult Sebastien, even if we too are pissed about it. If we allowed it as an exception we'd just be hypocritical.

Thanks for taking part, to sum it up Sebastien plans to open up a new PayPal link on his website once his negative balance on PayPal is taken care of.
