    Okay, I have an idea.

It's sort of inspired by the TMNT 2012 show: some Decepticon scientists abduct some animals from Earth and splice them with robots, in order to create a new kind of organism (mix their energon/spark with organic tissue or something). They get loose, try to escape and end up crashing on Earth (present era). They scatter across the Earth (ending up in different continents), and while a few stay as Decepticons and team up to mount raids and attacks on humans, others decide to renounce their allegiance and join the Autobots to stop them.

A few Autobots/Decepticons appear as vehicle robots, but for the most part the cast would be confined to beasties. Each side would venture around adding more characters to their ranks, until finally everyone's picked a side and it goes into all-out war.

That's all I got for now.

How about just a retelling of Beast Wars? Like it could coincide with Prime/RID or something. I am pretty sure the original cast would all be on board.

I think I'm gonna like that. Just as long as there are some humans involved.

What kind of beasts will there be? And for the Maximals and Predacons coming back, how will it be possible?

Another show with mostly beasties would be pretty welcome about now. There's only so many times seeing cars/jets/trucks stays interesting.

I'd either go for a series that plays into the IDW/Aligned use of the Thirteen, having the Preds' equivalent being a cult...something like the "Sentinels of Onyx" or such, who hate regular Cybertronians for persecuting beast-formers in Nova Prime's day. They'd attack Autobot outpost planets with the aim of eventually striking Cybertron itself; causing the Autobots & Decepticons to form a "Primal" response force - made up of a couple of Bot/Con vets (as in experience, not animal doctors) and volunteer beast-bots suited to chasing down the animal-y cult across difficult terrain on planets.

The other idea would follow on from Beast Machines as a sort of spin-off. I'd have a small group of original characters from Techno-organic Cybertron heading off to re-establish contact with Maximal exploration crews and stations across space, following the collapse of infrastructure on Cybertron after Megatron and the Great Reformatting. They'd find a few places...maybe abandoned, with a Dead Space kinda vibe, before heading to the Sol System and finding the still functioning fossilised remains of a couple of Stasis Pods never recovered from the Beast Wars (perhaps Wolfang, Armordillo?). Then the series would roll on, with them finding stranded crews; tracking loose Preds etc on straaaange planets (a visit to Botanica's plant-planet, anyone?)

Preds would be new characters that are escaped prisoners from over-run satellite prisons/refugees that fled Cybertron before the Vehicons found them. They'd be ruthless, but with reason - a chance to explore the darker dealings undertaken by the Maximal Imperium to keep the peace/remove all threats to their authority in the post-G1 era (before Megatron, y'know, ripped their sparks out).

I'd like a new Beast War's type show, but I don't want a major thing going on, like the Aligned continuity has. I'd just like the classic, wacky scheme-a-day type of Transformers show to come back, considering how long it's been. I mean, I'm not objecting to an actual overarching plot, but just focus more on the silly than the serious.

If I had to say combine the two, have a wacky scheme-a-day thing most of the episode that uncovers something from the arc, but is promptly forgotten until it's useful. They aren't going out of their way to find it, they just happen to find it, unlike the Aligned continuity where they go out of their way to find the artifact that semi-silly stuff happens rarely.

I like the "post-apocalyptic Earth" idea and the "genetic experiments on Earth animals" idea, so I'd probably mix the two together into something rather dark, yet laced with macabre comedy...a sort of "Age of Extinction on the Planet of the Apes by way of Rick & Morty".

As for my roster...I'd play with things a little bit here. The Maximals would be non-flying land creatures of various species and accurate correlating size...whereas the Predacons outside of Megatron are all giant insects. There would be no dinosaur alt-modes due to the future time-frame (sorry, Dinobot), and also no G1 characters carried over (sorry, Ravage).

    MAXIMALS
    Primal
Just "Primal" - not "Optimus Primal" or "Optimal Optimus" or "Primal Prime" or any of that. Gorilla.
    Rhinox Rhinoceros
    Cheetor Cheetah
    Rattrap Rat
    Tigatron Tiger

    PREDACONS
    Megatron
    Crocodile
    Tarantulas Spider
    Waspinator Wasp
    Antagony Ant
    Quickstrike Scorpion
    Ramhorn Rhinoceros beetle
    Cicadacon Cicada

What about maximals taking on prehistoric beasts while predacons taking on mythical beasts? They all need air, land & sea!

    Maximals:
    Primal: Gigantopithecus
    Cheetor: Smilodon

    Predacons:
    Predaking: Dragon
    Shockwave: Cyclops

I just saw the Robot in Disguise episodes.

Perhaps several Predacons would become chosen by Optimus Prime's spirit and become Maximals.

    Me too.

If only they were lost cybertronians from another planet or a different race that integrated with them.

In fact, the new Maximal leader can be called Maximus who leads them, while the Predacons are led by Predaking.

Still how if there are some Autobots and Decepticons are involved.

I don't think humans should be brought back. That being said, I wouldn't mind a reimagining of Beast Wars Neo, since that series had a good concept; Beast robots travelling from planet to planet searching for scattered relics. A bit like Star Trek, only with Transformers. It was just executed rather poorly.

But I want humans involved in the new Beast Wars! Not the prehistoric ones!

More likely the future ones who reside in a colony searching for a new home.

Honestly other than The Vok..what else is there that would have been worth a fourth season?

The unsolved issue with the Stasis Pods? Nah, wait. Simon Furman's The Gathering covered that plot thread and did it incredibly well. Hell, I'd love there to be a spin-off of The Gathering just based around Razorbeast's Maximals fighting Ravage's Predacons [and no, The Ascending doesn't count].

The show implies that most of them, like, got destroyed..

The only reason half the stasis pods before season 2 were recoverable was because they mostly managed to guide themselves to Earth and land intact. But all the other pods completely dropped without guidance.

    Something like this:

They keep their correct personalities, none of the transorganic stuff, Takes off right after the end of season 3. They get back to cybertron, Megatron escapes, small teams of both Maximals and predicons go after him. (But not the full team from Beast Wars, some stay on cybertron and some new members join.) They chase Megatron through a transwarp portal, and they all crash on a new non earth world.
They both for the first few episodes compete for who will capture Megatron and keep getting in each others way letting him escape. Megatron eventually finds an ancient deceptcon Warship and wakes up the occupents. Through his usual manipulations, he gets them to attack both teams. But he'll have to play second fiddle in a starscream type role to the decepticon commander. Seeing the decepticons some predicons join them.

The surviving Maximals and predicons team up for survival. The rest of the first season is fighting for parts to repair the ships or make a communication system.
Then the usual surprises they find on the world that will change the status quo for season 2.
