All this combiner talk almost makes me miss Energon when the Bots could just about combine with every other Bot. Funny on how all this technology was lost in this Cybertron 'sequel'.

Sigh, I so clearly remember the days when Optimus Prime didn't need to combine with anyone or anything. He did just fine.

I agree. I don't need this "combining with the trailer" crap. Transforming red cab. Trailer for utility. Prime's been a bit of a wimp ever since G1. But hey, if YOU got killed, then revived, then discovered how to make yourself less likely to be killed again, wouldn't you use it? So while I think he's wimpier, I'd do the same thing.
