A couple of weeks ago at Wal-Mart. How much is it down there in the US? We get ours in Canada for $22.97.

Haven't cracked it open yet. Haven't finished Headmasters or Masterforce sets. Recently finished the 90s X-Men series though, and I picked up Captain Power boxset recently. *sigh*

Man, I wish I was still in school, there's never enough hours in a day to watch the stuff on tv, go to work, time to do chores, squeeze in some video gaming, and get enough hours of sleep.

Maybe I should take a 2-week vacation, and just stay home to catch up on all the DVDs. :D

It's a weird thing though. When I was working all hours Zod sent I was still able to fit in watching everything I wanted to and reading piles of books and magazines. I'd rattle through a twenty-two episode season boxset of something in a weekend, but these days it'll take me a week or more. Now I don't work as many hours and have more free time I find I actually get less done in that downtime. I think when you know you have limited spare time you try to pack as much as possible into it to make best use of it. When you have more spare time you feel you can put some things off until later and so things don't get done as promptly as before. That's me anyway.
But then you probably still won't. :p

I guess I can limit my playing time with TF toys, gaming, and stuff on TV to watch so I can watch my DVDs

For the record, I'm playing Torchlight, and I'm juggling my 8 characters.

It was around $22 here as well. You got yours earlier than we did, it was only just released in America yesterday.

Do you know if they fixed the error that was on the first Japanese Box set?

(on the Victory set disc 3 in the episode : Battle to Death at the South Pole! the episode doesn't have the right subtitles, they are from the episode a Deadly Battle)

Didn't they do an exchange back when the 3 series set hit last year? If so, I would imagine that the new set has the corrected disc.

I ordered mine from Amazon back when the list went up, but am waiting for it to ship since I included it in a free shipping order.

I'm only about 1/2 through Masterforce though, so it will be a while until I get to Victory. I just hope it is better than the complete pile of garbage that is Headmasters. (So far I am enjoying Masterforce for what it is, and it even encouraged me to dig through my old G1 box and put some pretender and powermasters on display.)

IMHO, Victory is actually good. Masterforce with a few episode exclusions was OK. Headmasters, well Headmasters on paper sounds like a great series, the execution however, was really lackluster.

If they ever made a English dub for the show:

    Tim Daly as Star Saber
    Daniel Riordan as Deathsaurus
    Fred Tatasciore as Goryu
    David Kaye as Victory Leo
    Kyle Hebert as Leozack
    Yuri Lowenthal as Holi

I can't stand to watch Headmasters for the most part. They kill off or weakly write out every one of my favorite characters and destroy Cybertron.
The Rebirth might be not remembered fondly, but at least it left Cybertron in a second Golden Age with Optimus Prime alive and well to lead his people into a bright, hopeful future as an ending. If you decide to go the Headmasters route everyone and everything gets destroyed.

I wouldn't care who they killed off or what they destroyed, if it all just wasn't so dull. Seriously! It's the only Transformers series that I don't think I could ever watch through again.

I've had the UK DVD boxset for probably over five years now and I've only watched it twice. And the second time was only because a pal wanted to watch it with me. It's on my re-watch list but I always find something else more interesting to watch instead.

The one time I actually did watch it, I even found myself playing it at a faster speed, just to get it over with.

Blame the Euro Motorvators figures. But I suppose if they're going to try and use Western names for the subtitles (which I assume is what you're talking about) then it might still be odd to people that have only known those figures by their Japanese names. I got the Motorvators figures when they came out here in the UK so I'd only ever known the Western names for them.

Hmm... then that is a bit odd. Maybe the person who did the subtitles only had the Gripper Motorvator figure. :p
