Shockwave history

If Shock was an '85 Decep, what was he doing in the very beginning of MtMtE?

Toylines AND Cartoons take a long amount of prep time to create. They certainly knew at least vaguely what toys would be out in 85 when the cartoon was being created. Remember Grapple (under a preliminary name) and the Dinobots, Skyfire and the Constructicons and Insecticons were all 85 toys that also appeared in S1.

And we know that Omega Supreme and the Combiners (among other 85 guys) didn't appear in TF:TM because work on that was started so early they weren't finalized characters yet.

-ZacWilliam, you generally gotta figure at least a year and more often 2 years between planing and when things hit stores or the airwaves.
Ever wonder about the speed of Turbofoxes?
Or the proverbial ailerons of Titanium Moosebots?

Yes, was Grapple "Hauler" that hauled up Hound?

When he was a Constructicon?

Meh, wonder if parents were asking store employees where "Shockwave" was back in 1984.

But the Constructions were turned into Decepticons by Megatron... and Hauler was not among them when it happened... so he was never a Decepticon... Chronology, see!

Chronology, my leakin' lubicant exhaust transformed to arse... That means Skyfire was the first Transformer on Earth and Starscream was already an Earthen jet back on Cybertron before they launched!

My brain hurts.

Skyfire the first Transformer on Earth - as of Fire in the Sky, yes. No doubt about that.

Starscream being an F-15 millions of years ago - that's an artistic error.

There's no official fiction where Hauler was a Decepticon. Simple as that.

1 and 1 make 2.
