The reason why Beasties isn't on Canadian Netflix is due to ownership. In Canada, Alliance Atlantis owns the distribution rights to the show where as Shout Factory has them in the US. It's why we didn't get the DVD box sets released last year.

I'm sad. Hopefully Teletoon Retro gets Beast Wars.

Well, I prefer the name Beasties, so either way I'd have no problems with it.

I think the more important question is; who can resist the urge to giggle when you here 'Beasties!' in the opening song? I sure as hell can't. It really cracks me up.

In the UK those were as well as Beast Wars not instead of. So it was 'Beast Wars Biocombat Transformers'. Hmm... just looking back at my old UK BW packaging and 'Beast Wars Biocombat Transformers' was on just about everything as the banner titles.
I do remember 'Animutants' too but can't find it on my packaging. But then I've only got photos of my cardbacks and boxes to hand here so maybe it was on the card fronts.
Autobloke in everything but name.

Beast Wars toys came in several multilingual packaging variations.

Canada and Central/South America got English/French/Spanish packaging named "Beast Wars/Guerre Bêtes/Guerra Bestias".

In Europe, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany got French/Dutch/German packaging named "Beast Wars/Ani Mutants" (the latter being for the French market), whereas the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and the Scandinavian countries got English/Spanish/Italian named "Beast Wars/Biocombat" (the latter being for the Italian and Scandinavian markets). Also, the latter version often featured double English/Italian names for the characters.

The only exception were the European-exclusive "Transmetal" redecos of Spittor and Claw Jaw, which came on English/German/Italian cards named "Beast Wars/Biocombat".

My sales thread, my feedback as a seller and buyer.

Ye, that's what I meant. I've got Beast Wars Animutants version of Scavenger and Beast Wars Biocombat version of ultra class Optimus Primal. The Biocombat version was also produced for the Australian market iirc
