I actually thought the SAME THING! Before the first movie, I had never been exposed to G1. I pretty much thought the Unicron Trilogy was the only Transformers there was!

The first time I saw the movie, I kept asking myself "Where is Red Alert? Where is Hot Shot? Who the heck is Jazz?"

When I first saw t2 Cheetor I didn't know it was Cheetor and thought is was a new female character and I used to think terrorsaur was Starscream reborn. I know it sounds stupid but its true.

The only thing in exsistance that Megatron and Unicron should fear

Best part is that he's totally not alone. For example, my Grandma used to bring/send me toys from Greece when I was younger, one of which was G1 Ironhide. I remember opening it up with my dad, putting everything together, and then both of us kinda wtfing because it had no head. I probably didn't really care & figured it was just a strange toy, but I remember him being dead set on it being incomplete (and peed off as a result), and now I only have the back/base half.

What I *think* happened is that he sent it (the robot half) back with my Grandma to find a replacement head for it at the store & to bring or send the next time, but of course since no such head existed, nothing came back & the bot half probably got lost or ended up going to one of my cousins or something.

When I was a kid, I used to think there was only the movies and an old cartoon which I just randomly guessed was from the sixties. I even thought energon was part of it. I didn't pay much attention to graphics as a kid and Energon CGI was so bad, I thought it was cel Animation.

My buddy told me that Ultra Magnus was the ghost of Optimus Prime, that possessed Ultra Magnus' body. Because of the toy's colour, I believed him. And well, there was a Starscream ghost, so why not?
But it never quite sat right with me that the alt mode had Optimus' ghost sticking out the front.

This same buddy also told me that there was a version of Megatron you could order 'special' that really shot a laser. Also, I got really excited about a comic he always 'forgot at home' or 'lent to his cousin' that had the Punisher carrying Megatron and disintegrating entire buildings with him.

I thought Rodimus Prime was the son of Optimus Prime, because they had the same surname and I haven't seen the movie until my 20s.
I don't care if your world is ending today, cos I wasn't invited to it anyway.

Since we here in Germany got the cartoon back in 1989, in random order, and didn't get to see the movie until 1994, I and the kids i used to talk to had no clue that there was a "Hot Rod" who was a Matrix-less Rodimus Prime. We just assumed Hot Rod to be Rodimus Prime all the time, and he was Optimus Prime's brother who took over after his brother died.

My sales thread, my feedback as a seller and buyer.

The first time I heard Terrorsaur speak, I thought he was supposed to be Starscream too.
