I like RID 01 Sideburn, as well as Jhiaxus and Minerva (Probably didn't spell that right)

 

I've suddenly taken a liking to Micromasters like Blackjack, Stakeout, and the Deception Military Patrol recently. So I'd say they're my favorite obscure guys.

 

Hopefully not though Minerva was a popular character in Japan.....

 

I saw a character nicknamed Big Red on TFWiki, he looks pretty awesome.

Sideburn isn't obscure, he was a main character on a mainline Transformers cartoon!

Jhiaxus was also main in a mainline comic.

I'll give you Minerva, since she's not from a North Amercan show.

 

Does Elita One count? Because she didn't get a major role after The Search For Alpha Trion up until her appearance in the IDW comics.

 

I don't remember if I mentioned them in my first post ITT but the Comabatibots as they appeared in AVP were pretty neat.

I had his toy and for some reason convinced myself it was a G2 Hot Rod toy. I'd say that makes him pretty obscure if you don't even remember who he really was. But damn, did I enjoy that toy when I was young.

 

Countdown, Flak or Fixit.

 

Putting in a vote for G1 Boss. A 1992 toy released only in Europe and Canada, he didn't appear in any media until 2004, vanished after two issues, and stayed gone until he reappeared on the Lost Light in 2012. At which point he got precisely zero new toys. Boo.

 

I'd say yes...as she was quite awol up until recently...

Devcon is my favorite autobot that isnt a dinobot. How much more obscure can you get than only appearing in one episode. He never appeared in the comics. The way that the Decepticons were so afraid of him though has stuck with me. I loved what little back story they had for him too. Just think, how many transformers that we never heard of are out there. The ones that left Cybertron years ago, scattered throughout the universe

 

Devcon is a character I'd like to see more of in the comics...or...eventually in a new series...

 

Does Old Snake count? I loved all the references to Cobra, and about the closest we got to a full on crossover. I also here the collector con is giving him a figure of his own soon
