Sometimes I feel all alone believing the Quintessons created Transformers
3H wrote a version of events where Primus created the transformers and the Quintessons took credit for it. I'd like to see a version where the Quintessons created the transformers and taught them to believe in Primus in an attempt to keep them pacified.

This^^ I own seasons 1-4 and every now and then I'll feel like rewatching a couple of my favorite episodes. It's classic dumb entertainment, so I don't take it as seriously as I would TFP for example. Not implying I take that srsly.

The Toys - Nostalgia always wins me for the 70's/80's car designs and the look and feel of die cast w/rubber tires (which also makes Gobots attractive to me)

The cartoon - A big part of my childhood, and as for re-playability, I own the Rhino DVD (well, up to the first half of season 3. Season 3 part 2 is one of those weird KO sets I got off a anime store between Rhino's discontinuation and the current ones) and am currently letting the whole series run on Netflix (currently on "Chaos")

My father used to have the show on videotapes and almost a complete collection of the figures until they were stolen before I was born, since then it seems Transformers has been a touchy subject for my dad.

Seasons 1 and 2 are fun to watch. I don't really like Season 3, though.

Sometimes I wish I had been a kid during the 80s.

What he said, except I'm ashamed to admit that I actually finished a number of episodes before giving up. I had a way longer attention span as a kid than I do now.

The comics, on the other hand, are timeless.

Out of the eleven TF shows, (including the films and Rescue Bots) I rank G1 sixth. Although, I can't decide what order I should put G1, movies and Energon in so they're all sixth.

G1 is a really horrible show but it has a charm about it. It's just something fun to watch if you're the sort of person who can put up with rubbish eighties shows. Which I can. The eighties is my favorite decade of the twentieth century. I guess there's something wrong with me.

I love G1! Its hyber as all Hell, but a huge bundle of fun at the end of the day. I came out of all 98 episodes satisfied with 80% of it.

G1(comic) said Primus created the Transformers. Argument invalid.

I appreciate it for what it is, starting the franchise and whatnot (or did the toys come first). I actually enjoy early season 1 episodes. But beyond that, I can't comprehend all the constant animation errors and cheesiness in season 2 and beyond. I will admit though, for its time, it had some pretty kick-ass action sequences.
