Will we ever get a "dark" Transformers animated series?

Beast Machines... So far, it's about the only thing in consensus.

An adaptation of the G2 comics would be lovely. That was some stuff.

I think TF Prime is relatively dark.

Cliffjumper and Breakdown's deaths were pretty graphic, Starscream and Knockout tried to "euthanize" Megatron, Silas got crushed, Raf came close to dying, and Bulkhead beat that poor Starscream clone to death.

And Fowler was TORTURED. How much darker can you get?

I think Prime could very easily survive at a more "adult" time slot.

It was? Yeah, there was definatly something missing from it.... but it was still IMO really good. Definatly more of what I want from a Joe series than anything else Hasbro has done since the original Sunbow series.
