Well Erector totally is insulting for people with erectile dysfunction. He's like "Hey looser. I'm a robot named Erector. IN YOUR FACE mr needs a blue pill!!" Adding to insult, when he transforms, it isn't the normal 'Ka Ka Ko Ku' sound. It is 'Booooiiiiinnnng'.

Apparently Slag is an insult or curse word in Europe (UK?). Which is why his name is now Slug...

i guess you could say there was "rasism" in beast wars considering in the cartoon all maximals and predacons save for megatrons crew (and his maximal protoforms turned predacon) are sapossedly at peace and yet characters like rattrap clearly show hatred for all predacons.

hasbro was going to name a toy in the pcc line "spastic" in the uk it is a deragatory statment towards the mentaly disabled, many fans fron the uk were outraged and hasbro had to rename the toy "over-run".
