quality of the toys to go back up. generations last year (including the FE molds) to dotm and regular prime toys, you can see them drop to mediocre, smaller figures

For me to personally love the TF franchise? Well Hasbro could sure grease the wheels by paying me a million dollars a year (I would say a week, but surely that would be greedy?) to stick with it. And when you think about it, some of that million would be paid BACK to Hasbro for Transformers! Simple economics! Hasbro would really be doing themselves a favour!

So Hasbro, pay me, and I swear I'll be totally happy with the Transformers you put out.

I'd like to see a line where the toys are developed before the show again. I'd think we'd get better toys then. Less sacrifices to make for show accuracy, and maybe even more stable and durable toys. I'd like it to go back to the days of Cybertron and Energon in terms of toy design and quality, but keep the story quality at Prime's level.

They are not just smaller, but they also have crappy plastic and get stress marks all over them after just playing with them once.

I would like all fans to respect and understand other fans opinions, likes and dislikes even if they are in opposition to their own.

People shouldn't have to have this stupid "blind hater" label thrown on them when they express legitimate complaints you don't want to hear. Nothing is totally peaches and cream, and since this is a discussion board these complaints, and even the nitpicks, are largely what fuels conversation.

Now that that's out of the way, i'd like to see at least half the fanbase raise their standards a little. I hear the equivalent of "transformers are shit, so _____ being shit is how it should be!" waaay too much from people who are supposed to love these fictional robots. Mccarthy and costa's dark age would've lasted much less if droves of people hadn't kept buying them for the brand name and (sometimes) pretty art. I also believe stronger fan backlash could've improved or fixed some things in the bay movies. A little more active backlash could've likely dislodged funpub from the club as well.

As it is now, expectations seem so low that anything gets a pass.

Hmmm...definitely a good question. My experience with the fandom has gone downhill over the past year-and-a-half or so. Honestly, if there was anything that could improve this fandom (in my eyes at least), would be for there to be less arguing over personal opinions. People need to realize that not everybody needs to share the same opinions. Most especially when it comes to something that, in the US at least, is meant as entertainment and toys for kids. Enjoy the franchise and spread the fun with other fans, but don't get all butthurt because someone likes something you dislike/doesn't like something you like. This pretty much goes for all fandoms like this. Including, but not limited to, Thundercats, GI Joe, Power Rangers, DC, Marvel, etc...

To put it simple, a bit more maturity would be great.

Edit: Reading some of the other posts in the thread, I think some people don't understand what the topic is about. We're talking about the FANDOM, aka the fan community (us), NOT the Transformers FRANCHISE.

I'd like proper transformers films. the bay films are great I will admit but revenge of the fallen is the black spot on transformers films. if they were made by cameron, jackson or lucus, people who actually know a damn thing about the fandom the transformer films would be viewed as masterpieces and no one would dare mention the raspberry awards
Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff

Count the Prime Bumblebees. One FE, like every other FE was remade into RID, like all most characters has one Cyberverse and the only thing that can be complained about is Weaponizers/Leader Bumblebee. And Bumblebee barely even appears in the show. If they really needed so much Bumblebee for the past few years, why have they stopped now?

I'd like more rubber tires in toys.
Also for the Mp figures, or more expensive ones to have more die-cast.
More figures should look like the FE molds and make them a good size!!!
