Legos and Gameboys and Transformers Collide in This Toy of Our Childhood Dreams



Very cool lego/TF Gameboy... and he's offered to put up an instructional guide for making it. Figured it worth sharing.

My first news credit! Yay! Although I am surprised this was new credit worthy... but hey.. why not!? XD

Might wanna remember Lego has a Pick-A-Brick page that will prolly get a lot of orders in the near future... hehe.

Why? It's the same thing, just made by another company, plus they're interchangeable. How's that a bad thing?

 

On what? Robbing LEGO of the money they should be getting for their idea? They were creative enough to think of it and try to encourage creativeness. All HASBRO has done is taken other peoples ideas.

 

Just saying, its your choice to let simple licensing be the reason to not experience the joy that is Kre-o.

 

Just because I don't like incorrect facts,I shall correct myself. It seems that Lego is actually a rip off of Kiddicraft Self-Locking Bricks. Buts still, two wrongs doesn't equal a right or whatever.

 

How is it wrong? Is LEGO suing Hasbro for intellectual property theft? No, they don't have a problem with it, otherwise it wouldn't happen. If they don't have a problem with it, why should you or anyone else?

 

I just don't find it to be right to rip something off, just because it's more popular than what you're doing.

 

Guys, guys, can we get back on the topic please? This is an awesome custom Lego Transformer! I love all the little touches like the cartridge Soundwave!

 

when megabloks made bricks lego sued but the brick cannot belong to one company like bandai not being the only company to make model kits. kreos arent bad, they have horrible designs. Brickshelf Gallery - Neo Blurr, fastest Autobot, Transformers ever this uses all the parts and transformers, not part form. hell, the valkyrie lego some japanese dude made is just as good. its just that kreos seem dissapointing for not using all the parts in both modes. its why fan creations are more intuitive and not based on budget, which is why the kreos have limited pieces.

 

Well lego is a rip off of a even older brick company that never got the money so it went of sale then lego came along stole the idea put loads of money into it and made a lot of money

Plus Kre-o is now legos main opponent being bioncle and cars at the same time really and Kre-o minifigs are superior

This is really impressive. Looking at the smaller photos I was thinking "what purpose could the batteries have?" then I realized they too were lego. Lego Soundwave creator: great work!

 

The LEGO group has gotten plenty of money for their idea. It enjoyed 30 years of patent protection, which ended in 1988... though the company has since tried to restrict competition on dubious copyright and/or trademark grounds, with varying levels of success.

I suspect Nintendo Co., Ltd. would have something to say about that.

 

guys guys guys! I dunno how they can call them Lego Transformers?(Kre-o..etc) coz your not actually transforming them! just disassembling & reassembling! they need to find a way of transforming without taking them apart!

 

I saw this on Instructables a few days back. The dude also made a Nintendo Zapper Transformer.
