Megatron for Hall of Fame 2012!

I think most in the auto lock in got in because they either gain fame from G1 or the Bay movies. I really think Bumblebee got in from the movies, because he was pretty much MIA since G1 ended until that point.

I rather wait and see how the 2013 auto lock in picks will go. In most years those that didn't get the fan vote get the auto lock in for the following year. So if BW Megatron does not get that treatment, then I'll be ticked.

In reality, they better slow down their number of inductees each year. They're going to run out of characters of note soon. Then we'll be inducting characters like Nightscream... Not so much as a Hall Of Fame when that sh!t starts happening.

I'm hoping Hasbro recognizes the backlash the all G1 autos have been causing & reconsider. Also, as Jetbolt said, & I've been thinking as well, if the autos are indeed carry overs from the previous years, as they appear to be, since Megatron likely came in 2nd (if he wasn't cheated out of first), he should get the carry over treatment. Hasbro could appease us by Auto-inducting Primal w/ him, though.

I also think Bumblebee was due to the movies. Yes, he was the human-associated character for most of G1, but nadda until the movies & Animated. He just isn't the icon everyone else in the Hall is. Yes, he's an Icon & remembered, but everyone else in there is a league or 2 beyond him (yes, I'm including Wheeljack in that).

Didn't give a spit about Botcon this year, actually forgot about the hall of fame totally until I saw this thread. I am looking forward to seeing Prime Shockwave though. Been busy with other franchises this year.

while I loved WJ as much as the next guy, Wheeljack was dead in the animated movie, dead fast, and dead off screen. BB not only lived on but got a new form (for better or for worse) so uhh think your league level theory might need further discussion/considerations.
