No, I'm serious. There's something really not right here.

G1 characters get a free pass into the HOF just because they're G1. Obviously some Geewunners higher up have gotten jack of the BW characters dominating the fan voting and have decided to take matters into their own hands.

I demand transparency!

Or (and I point the finger directly at Hasbro here) they interfered with the voting to plug a characters in the current TF franchise: Prime, so as to boost appeal. I wouldn't put it past Hasbro to do this.

If they'll paint a Wooly Mammoth blue, they'll do anything!

The shit is rigged any way you slice it. Just be happy you got characters in the first 2 years. That on it's own is pretty noteworthy...or would be if it wasn't rigged.

*facepalm* In addition to posts here (& many other [BotCon] threads), the Front Page said Wheeljack won (& dropped the bomb that Prime Shockwave was revealed).

I have to agree it does seem strange that Wheeljack won. If Megatron won, I'd be a bit surprised but happy and I'd understand as he's such a devious plotter and a big part of the ever popular BW. If Sky Bite won, I'd be angry but I'd understand that he's popular. A lot of people seem to like comic relief characters. But Wheeljack? I could understand after a few years but right now, there are several other characters I thought he'd chosen after.

I can see Wheeljack drawing most of the G1 & non-Beast vote. Think about it. There aren't too many male fans who'd choose Arcee over a Mad Scientist & a lot of the fanbase is biased against the 'Bot who got Optimus killed (deservedly or not). That leaves Wheeljack to draw the votes from the average G1er.

But he didn't get all the G1 votes -- since, in addition to 2 G1 characters, Sky-byte syphoned off some G1 votes as well -- which is assumed to be required to dethrown a Beast Front Runner. I can see that there could've been some level of interference, but I can also see that Wheeljack could've just barely edged out Megatron (perhaps both, that it was so close, Hasbro just picked one). Hopefully, either way, Megs gets auto-inducted next year.

This was the 3rd year of HOF, and of the 10 automatic inductees there have been, ALL have been G1 characters. There's a bias if ever I've seen one.
