TV series into the movies

i was thinking earlier how much i liked the TF: armada series, then i thought it would have been so cool if the movies were based off of armada

i could just see the decepticons, the main ones would be of course megatron, starscream, cyclonus, demolisher, and tidalwave who is in battle ship mode and acting as the cons' transport/base then transformering near the end and stomping out of the ocean and into the city while the cons are just like chilling on his shoulder

that would be so frickin sick

if you could pick a series to be made into the movies what one would it be

"Oh, sure. Don't mind Waspinator. Waspinator just lie here and suffer. Drag himself to CR tank..."

I always had an idea for a Armada Movie. It draws ideas from the TV series, the live action movies (for the down to earth realness) and a little bit from Exiles. This is all I've got so far:

Rad and co. (they are all late teens, like Sam) explore some mountain range and awaken Sureshock, High Wire and Grindor (all scan bikes, can still combine). Wheeljack attacks.

That's about it so far.
The Autobots and Decepticons are looking for the Star Sabre, not sure if that's going to be one Mini-con or just Prima's sword.
The Mini-Con treo were inspired by the Arcee sisters of the films, but they take Bumblebee's guardian role.
The Wheeljack attack would be very similar to Barricade's first attack in the '07 movie.
Trying to keep the cast small, for more characterization. Maybe just Optimus, Hot Shot and Red Alert for the Autobots, Sureshock, High Wire and Grindor for the Mini-Cons and Megatron, Starscream, Wheeljack and Demolishor for the Decepticons.
Love your Tidalwave idea!

Beast Machines. Its strong story and dark tone would work well. It would also be good for some Beats Wars fans by having some characters being beasts but not set on earth and some characters being vehicles.

Prime Prequel, which sets before Darkness Rising.

Idea 1: How Autobots and Decepticons came to Earth
It may include prequel comic's story. And WE NEED MORE CLIFFJUMPER

Idea 2: Megatron's quest for Dark Energon
And we can see more characters, such as the Seekers, the Wreckers, and etc.

I'm surprised Masterforce or any of the other Japanese TF shows haven't got OVAs yet, especially considering how most anime has at least one.

Other then Masterforce, I'd love to see Bob Forward and Larry DiTillio do their own continuation to Beast Wars.

I'm with you about a Unicron Trilogy movie. I would love a movie that take places after Cybertron and ties together with Cybertron Balancing Act.

Beast machines or a prequel to beast wars would be nice...however i think the idea of a running show works better because a story that could take a long time to tell does not have to be crammed into a couple of hours

I never watched the cartoon series, but I did enjoy the comic book series and general concept. The idea of the teenagers waking up the mini-cons as an audience way-in to the TF universe is a good one.
