My RID collection hasn't had a lot of love for a while with the majority of my time and money spent on wst and citybots, as such most of my RID collection has been tucked away in boxes in the loft for a while now.

Well, today when I had a couple of hours to hand I decided to get all the show cast out and put the RID cartoon on in the background. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the toon and the accompanying figures. The first episode I went for was "attack from outer space"; I just love some of the comedic moments in this episode; sky-bytes homage to megatron, the commandos trying to guess which police car is prowl, movor sending the decepticons on a wild goose chase and shooting scourge! Classic!

lol! I'd forgotten about that episode. I'm going to have to go back and watch it again.

My RiD collection has only just begun. I only have RiD Megatron, Scourge and Ultra Magnus, as well as Generations Sky-Byte. As you can tell, I lean towards the badguys from that line lol

Apparently, as I was moving, I lost some figures, because I no longer seem to have Rail Spike and Midnight Express. I was bummed. I guess I should have bought the Takara versions when I found them a while back.

Just watched "the fish test" as well, another slapstick great!

I was lucky enough to pick up pretty much all of the line en masse a couple of years ago. I had a handful of figures (seemingly like u) from back when they were launched but got 60+ RID figures as a job lot. I then only had to find destructicon scourge, megabolt and brave maximus to more or less finish the line ( I still have a set of spy changer redeco's, walmart landfill and urban camo ruination to go but I am not really one for redeco's)

Like u, I seem to have lost, misplaced or neglected some figures, couldn't find g1 target master kup, sureshot & pointblank when I was rummaging (not that I was really looking for them) so no idea where they have disappeared to!

    Thanks.

Though the shuttle is a bit pricey for some, basically all but Scourge are. But they are loads of fun.

he is a bit pricey, but not as bad as some.
He was my favorite Combaticon figure as a kid (Swindle was my favorite on the show...but Blast Off didn't really have a personality in the show lol).

I'm just now rewatching the show. Just watched the episode in which Sky-Byte's troops think the Build Team was sent to help them out lol

Not a patch on Jetbolts pictures but a bit of fun nevertheless...

Here is my recreation of that scene from "attack from outer space" where movor shoots scourge by accident!

Loving the pics Jetbolt, the first one specifically!

That must be a monster ruination/bruticus! What figures are those and how tall is the combiner?

That would be the G1 Combaticon take from the 3rd party company Warbotron.

As for how tall the combiner is, I'm not sure.

^ nah, not me; I am only interested in the original figures. Besides, quite happy with that mould, still looks great to my mind. Understand if others are excited at the prospect of an updated figure though...

The only way that I'll be another version of RID Scourge, is if there is a Masterpiece version. That's the only thing that will top it for me.

But I would love to see updates for Spychangers. Would be nice to have them in deluxe scale.

Nice! That's a lot of Scourge. Which version is the small Scourge in the center?

That would be the Spychanger version, it also came packaged with a smaller X-Brawn too.
