In show feats: Not only can Raiden generate his own energy-sword, combat wise, he's leveled Bruticus, Abominus, and Predaking on separate occasions. More than once, he's bested Predaking. Most combat with Predaking involved fist fights and Raiden won those fights. I don't think he even brought his rifle to the fights...

Fought Galvatron on Planet Pirate and survived.


His stats state his hatred for Devastator and he wants to beat the hell out of Predaking. That means that his stats follow the cartoon well.

Style: Most ambitious Autobot Gestalt to go combat Decepticon combiners.

As a super train unit, can link up with Super Ginrai's base and conduct interplanetary/galactic travel. Capable of interspace travel between planets during raid missions.


Profile: Can best Devastator, and ambitious to fight Predaking (though proven to have beaten the Beast Gestalt).

King Poseidon
In show feats: Separate units terrorize humans, cities, and resources. Destroyed the Human Autobot Base. Not known to have robot modes (comics/manga depict Turtler with robot mode).

Central sentient unit Turtler commands Seacon drones to combine into his limbs to become King Poseidon. Capable of overpowering Pretenders and Headmaster Jr.'s such as Metal Hawk and Go-Shooter. Holds his own against an Autobot Godmaster until the likes of Super Ginrai (powered by trailer power up booster) or Doubleclouder (dual powered GodMaster-brace) destroys him.

More than one occasion after his destruction, Turtler survives after the King Poseidon combiner gets destroyed. With remarkable recovery. Turtler alone commands a number of infinite Seacon drones. During one fight, King Poseidon can quickly recombine when separated.

Wields a giant sword and Seacon Targetmaster.

 

It's not his personal bias for disliking the character? Yup, makes perfect sense. And Prime may have dies ONCE, but that was in a 3 on 1 battle where he literally disarmed starscream and ripped grindors face in two with his energon hooks. That was before he had any jetfire/his trailer.

Also, as I stated in a previous post. There is no actual way to "stage" any of these battles, as such it will always devolve into debate which is based on....you guessed it, personal opinion/bias.

Like grouping Powermaster Prime and Ginrai together is very unbiased and totally educated where one character relies on constant fuel and the other is a human fused to a giant robot. Nothing Gurren Lagen-y there. Come to think of it, Hi-Test and Throttle are two Nebulan organics that underwent intro and exo-skeletal modification. And to keep up with the Transformers, they ate 50 times the normal Nebulan/human. So that means the Powermaster process requires a lot of sustenance, unlike the mind-bending God Master process of a human donning an exo-suit. Godmasters don't need to eat 50 times as much as Powermaster partners.

Moving on...

Comics/Manga

Raiden: Strangely enough, he's not covered in print form as much as he was. Feats:
Smashing Predaking's face with a mere kick and defeating him, as his cartoon counterpart.
Destroying a robotic giant octopus by swinging it into the rest of the Decepticons.
Seeing to the safety of hospital patients and transporting them to safety.
Spreading Christmas spirit.
One-Way ticket for Autobots to Athenia.

King Poseidon:
Posed a massive threat to Autobot Pretenders and Headmaster Jrs. Till all four Autobot Godmasters arrived.
Combined with other Decepticon Gestalt members to form Scramble 7.
Scramble 7's Seacon Targetmasters blasted the hell out of Chromedome and Raiden.


This is all comics and they garnered very little attention, compared to the cartoon. And cue the pending verification progress.

There's more stats on these guys. Just gotta dig it all up.

That might be the best thing I've ever seen ever.

And vs who? Remember this is about vs fights, not just deadly warrior; it's who's deadlier between x and y.

I don't think it's bias at all. I think bias is bringing in his kill count in a very over-rated universe where even humans can kill the Decepticons; I don't think it's rational to suggest that Movie Prime is as tough as the previous Prime's based solely on taking faces. To suggest that all other Prime's wouldn't be a match combined is beyond the concept of fan-wanking. I'm just gonna be blunt on that.

But individually G1 Prime comes with 80's toonforcebuilt in, and Masterforce is even above that. But hey I have no problem with Movie Prime vs Masterforce Ginrai if you and others want to roll with that; I'm just not going to support a spite threat with x vs everyone.

Alright cool. That's usually what I go off of, and I believe those are extensions of the original tech specs but larger as adapted for the comics. So it's likely more in line with the comics than the show, which is fine by me anyhow. That works fine then.

I can see you're point. and think that would be a fair match up. Though, Ginrai and Movie prime both have armor ups, so the question is if they are allowed in their. Which I personally think they should for the battle to be with the two battlers to be at their most powerful.
