I am generally very good at keeping up with the latest Tf acronoms but this one has gotten by me. I have been seeing the term CHUG appear more and more on these pages.

Can anyone help me understand what people are refering to when they use CHUG?

    Thanx

They H threw me off. I would never guess adding the Japanese release to the rest of the American release names.

    Thank you for the insight.

Now I now, and knowing is....well you know where thats going lol.

    Thanx

I'm not very fond of that term either.

I prefer to call the whole thing Classics or Henkei.

I love the term, personally. With the advent of Generations, my old use of Classics/Universe2.0 as the catch-all term became a bit unruly/long. CHUG is much simpler to use.

Yeah I was a little unclear as well. Personally I still just call them Classics.

In my part of the world, 'chug' is a slang term for ones self pleasure so i dont particularly care for it as an acronym on these forums due to what i perceive it to mean. :rolleyes2

I'm not a fan of CHUG, I always refer to it as Classics.

But, if CHUG is what the majority are going to call this line, then CHUG it is.

Really? That would taint the term for me too.

If anything it makes the term all the more fitting :lol

This is the first time I'm hearing this acronym as well. It certainly makes sense all things considered though, but again makes me wish Hasbro just stuck with the term "Universe" for it's catch all line of transformers. But I guess they dropped it since they don't need to maintain any semblance of a canonical storyline for their Generations figures.

Oh well, all I know is once these guys start coming out, my CHUG collection is gonna rock!:drunk
