Mentioning Bay and Schumacher, Batman Animated had a go at Joel Schumacher in the later seasons. Further proof that it is the best Animated Series ever!

I'd have loved to see Animated give us Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.

I'd have loved to see Prowl, Ratchet and Prime homage the Spock, Bones, Kirk dynamic from the 80's Star Trek movies. I always loved their exchanges and let's be honest, Prowl, Ratchet and Prime had similar characters in G1.

That said, I'd also like Rodimus to team up with Bulkhead and Bumblebee and some way homage Broadway, Lexington and Brooklyn from Gargoyles.

Rodimus - Brooklyn - cool, future leader

Broadway - Bulkhead - heavy and a bit simple but sweet natured (same voice actor)

Lexington - Bumblebee - bug-eyed little know-it-all with a high voice

Powell has not given up trying to solve the city's trash problem. He creates the Sharkticons to eat up the vasts amounts of trash, and also in an attempt to compete with Sumdac's trash disposal bots. At first only Wreck-Gar, being the trash lover that he is, sees the potential 'problem' of these things. Sure enough, the Sharkticons malfunction and start trying to eat people and other machines. It's up to Wreck-Gar to stop the mechanical munchie monsters and save his precious trash before its too late!

EDIT: Oh, and one of the things one of the Sharkticons eat is a kid's Wheelie looking action figure.

I remember this being talked about before (dunno if it was anything more than fan-fun, but I believe Derrick or Marty or both liked the idea) - human villain named "Bayhem" who - not surprisingly - liked to make things blow up spectacularly.

I think a team-up between Porter C. Powell and Swindle would be pretty nifty. - It'd be a full-on "Ferengi episode".
