Any reason(s) to buy these considerring I already own the Rhino sets? I know they've been remastered and some animation errors were fixed but those weren't huge distractions to me anyway.

What advantage do the Shout sets have?

Death Metal - making moms ask "WTF does that say?" since 1983.

My understanding is that if the problems don't bother you then there is not a big enough difference to warrant the purchase...someone school me on this however if I am wrong.

I don't have the Rhino version so I am planning on getting every one of the Shout! releases.

The fixed animation errors, as well as the removal of the added-in-by-Rhino sound effects (why the hell did they add sound effects anyway??? ), and a bunch of new bonus features were enough to get me to re-buy G1 in the SHOUT! Factory set lol.
I'm Sentinel Prime and I approve of this post! ^^^

So Heavy Metal War is fixed? I sold my Rhino sets years ago because of all the extra animation errors but I would buy this if those errors are corrected.

Trust me, the Shout! Factory G1 sets -- particularly their Matrix of Leadership set -- are way better than the Rhino sets.

Thanks SmokescreenGT for making this sig!
