It seems these "continuity" are more like g1 knock off toons though to me, I wish a TFTM part 2 was released lol instead. What I dont like about rhino dvds are, the "touch ups" are awfully too bright and every episode has 8 starscreams on same frame lol and wrong characters talk. Plus there is no "midtro scenes before after commercials" I think that sucks. I also remember the Prime vs Megatron scene in TFTM where prime double fist kills Megatron, the floor was touched up in Rhino dvd, it looks bad. I prefer watching the 1989 VHS instead. ![]() My TF Collection : http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...ollection.html |

(Unless someone has a better option.) Before I plunk down the dough was wondering if anyone could help with a few questions. I read somewhere that Shout will not be releasing Zone or Scramble City. Can someone point me in the right direction for finding the best DVD release available for those two? Obviously Madman's Victory series is an option for Zone and Scramble City is in with their release of the movie but in case I decide to go with the shout factory collection I'd like some other options. Dubs are not a huge factor unless they are quality. I've seen a few Headmasters with the fan dubs and they are awful. Second, can anyone lay down the major differences between Shout Factory's versions and Madman's releases? I think I read Shout's will have more American subs, (i.e. Optimus Prime instead of Convoy) which that in itself is enough to put me squarely in Shout Factory's camp, but would just like a breakdown for comparison and can't really find any. Opinions are welcome on which set is the worthier purchase. Keep in mind tho I'm not a purist when it comes to the Japanese series, I'm really just a huge fan of the original G1 from way back who's seen a few Headmasters and wants a complete collection to check out the entire series. (Does bug me that shout didn't include Zone, wanna see what that's all about) Last, I read somewhere there was a dispute over episode order for the last season for the Matrix Ed from shout factory. How did that turn out for the new set? Same order as Matrix Ed? And if so what's the preferred (i.e. chronological) order? Hope you guys can help! |

Love it to death, especially the slimline cases. I've seen the Rhino releases from Youtube, and the added sound is just awful. |

In the booklet and the back of the cases have the same episode list but on the dvds do not match the order of the booklet or on the cases. What is the correct order. I already own the matrix of leadership boxset but quick question which is better to own the individual release or the matrix of leadership boxset |
