Ravage: Why do some people think he's a dog?

I've always wondered that too, when I know he's a cat ^^

What G1 episodes or comic did he not have a tail????

I used to think he was a dog. But then I was like "o wait".

All of this "people are stupid" and "people are idiots" talk is ridiculous and insulting, because Ravage DOES look as much like a dog as he does a cat. He looks like a panther, but he also looks like a hound, as people have pointed out. It's not entirely apparent from one glance that he's a cat.

Precisely. I've known him to be a Jaguar for many years (I did think he was a dog when I was little), but like people have said, he really looks no more feline than canine.
Hell, I know someone who mistook the Ravage in the movie to be a wolf but I can easily see where that comes from. I corrected him, but I didn't call him dumb.

I'll be quite honest, I've always thought Ravage was in fact a Dobermen, but after seeing him in the one G1 episode I could have sworn one of the Autobots said here Kitty Kitty or bad Kitty or something to that effect.

if you see the cassette ravage he has 2 colors on his legs just like a real Dobermen and he's very sleek and Slender like a Dobermen wheras Black Leopards are very bulky.

so yes it's more than possible Ravage was designed from a Dog originally but to be honest he's a 4-legged Alien Robot does it really truly matter???

I don't know about this dog stuff, But I hate when the young people call him a CD...

Ravage can easily be mistaken for a dog. Dog or cat, he's cool as shit in ROTF.
