Cyclonus, all the Cons where scared sh*%less of him but he only did as Galviron commanded, all the power he had, and he would still bow to another.

I don't think Cyclonus is technicaly a Herald, he's just second in command to a herald. A Powerful ass-kicking name taker, but still a bootkisser to Galvatron, who is a Herald.

I believe the classification for a "Herald" is a Unicron-powered/created minion who only takes orders from Unicron DIRECTLY (Most Nemesis Primes, Galvatron, Hook, Line, Sinker, etc.). Cyclonus has only ever taken orders from Galvatron, not Unicron, thus he's not a Herald.

No one likes TFCC's time lines herald Ramjet???

Cos I don't either, got to go with Galvatron on this one, he might suck as an actual herald what with wanting to take over and kill or replace unicron but lets face it the rest of them got beaten once maybe twice and they were done with galvatron keeps coming back again and again. He wins for shear staying power.

Galvatron is the actual Herald, Cyclonus and Scourge are just his subservient lackeys. Also, Worlds collide didn't have a "4 horsemen" type group of Heralds, that was the early issues of Energon (said horsemen being the BW repaints issued towards the end of the Armada line, Unicron sucked them up during the big fight in Armada issue #18 nd made them his hearlds, too.), they were repulsed when Prime finally got the "upgrade" into his Fattimus Prime body.

Yes. I am aware. I did not say they were the same. I was using the example of a group of heralds. Like the four Horsemen and ALSO like the Heralds from Worlds Collide.

Where the term comes from:
Heralds were originally messengers sent by monarchs or noblemen to convey messages or proclamations - in this sense being the predecessors of the modern diplomats
