Today, I was looking around the web and I realized that one of the popular things in Japan are robots such as Gundam. There are current Gundam series being made. There should be at least a new Transformers series being worked on now. Not like Animated which I strongly think its all recycled ideas. Hopefully, Japan/Takara will redeem themselves with the next one. Feel free to speak your opinions on this matter. |

so transformers will most likely follow that cycle as well, rehashing the "transforming robots caught in civil war" concept again. it just varies in presentation and storytelling but basically we're caught in an infinite loop, because they (Hastaktomy) believe in the addage of: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
for something completely new, never been done before, would be really cool, but the chances of it happening are a bit hazy to determine. Quote:

There may be no peace for the wicked, but the righteous can damn well get a piece whenever they feel like it. |

We were told at botcon that the next series will be on par with animated (or something to that degree) Quote:

Shows like Code Geass and Eureka Seven can keep up excellent writing and animation for up to 50 episodes, so I don't think Japan is incapable of carrying the franchise. It just needs talented people and a good budget. Also, no involvement from Cartoon Network in the dubbing. |

As long as it has the Transformation noise & a Rodimus Prime in it I will be very happy Quote:
