I swear I remember it was mentioned somewhere. Either I saw a video, or read an article that mentioned the person.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Someone on here has got to know.

The Con insignia is based off of Soundwave's face. | |

I'm pretty sure it came from a Marvel staff member, I'd hazard a guess and say it was Bob Budiansky.

I remember reading about in an old Bob Budiansky interview that I think was on Raymond Ts website.. Seibertron.com, but I do not know if it is still up. He said they were taken from Prowl and Soundwaves faces because they were going to be the original leaders of the Autobots and decepticons, but I am not sure if it was his idea or not.
wow.. this is only my second post in this forum in 3 years, although I have posted a lot in the Radicons section. Weird since I log into the site at least a couple times a week to view stuff.
I searched a bit and still haven't found the creater of the insignias. Most likely it was Dennis Oneil or Jim Shooter, because Oneil was on board and naming characters before Bob.  | |
