Best voice actors who've voiced the same TF characters

so i've already started threads for Optimus, Megatron and Starscream, but with many more TF characters comings, its better to just consolidate this into 1 thread.

while i can't deny the awesome of Scatman Crothers, the charm of Phil LaMarr just can't be ignored

To me his voice and character has been a little generic. He doesn't really stand out amongst some of the other TF bots.

So while its interesting to listen to the 4 variations, I would have to say that TF Animated's Jeff Bennett gives Prowl more distinction

Prowl is cool because his character is never the same in each of these incarnations. He was more of a commanding presence in G1, more of a younger, eager fighter in Energon, and a more calculating and philosophical (?) in TFA.

I'm going to be honest, Peter Cullen's voice has improved with age. His voice in the film was amazing, and much better than what I felt was kind of generic in G1, although in G1 it was more mechanized. I like Gary Chalk the best out of the tv only Primes; Kaplan is very generic and Kaye is playing a completely different kind of Optimus.

Kaye though is by far the best Megatron in my mind, he is very calculating and ruthless as a general. Welker is all over the place.... I'm not a big fan... and Burton is a bit monotone. His RiD voice is terrible imo.

Starscream, I like them all. I like how Kenny brings a bit more confidence to him while still paying a great homage to Latta. I think Dobson nailed the ambitious and noble SS from the Unicron Trilogy.

Glad to see so many characters are getting added.

Desppite me liking Animated Prowl, I say my definite voice for Prowl is Wayne Lewis.

Agreed. I'd like to see more pre-90's clips for the Marvel & DC heroes as well.

Also, they need to add Doug Parker as Starscream in Beast Wars

AWESOME SITE! The G1 voices are my fav though. Cal Dodd IS Wolverine to me.
