They didn't take their "profits" and did whatever they saw fit, they took the money they owed to other people and spent it on themselves. "Corporation" or not, it's still a few specific people who were responsible for this situation and it came about due to illegal business practices.

Yes, pretty much every other professional Transformers artist is better at drawing (anything) than Pat Lee.

That is, when Pat Lee is actually drawing it and not using an underpaid ghost.

I don't think anyone can defend his actions, but this is the freelance art biz afterall. Drawing comic pages per-page every month isn't like being a tenured professor or working at Microsoft.

while true, seems like all the more reason to be concerned

we comic artists dont have any of all that to rely on so when we get cheated, its a big cheat

if there's one thing i hate its the whole "oh its just comics..it happens all the time...its no big deal" attitude.

it IS a big deal. Some idiot just took thousands of dollars that was rightfully mine that i need for bills and food and living. that i've just wasted all that time for nothing. no big deal? you only say that cuz you have what we dont

and its sad that its always overlooked and not taken seriously [and that people like this can get away with it so easily]
