Err, but yes, I would recommend buying the Japanese series boxset. They are interesting to watch, if a little crazy and drawn out sometimes. |

For the sets you want, the episodes themselves are the same as the ones from Metrodome's HM/MF/Victory dvd sets (down to subtitle errors). Just get the Takara boxset from Metrodome, as it will be cheaper. I think. |

Why would one want to go with Metrodome's DVD's rather than Madman's? | I said that if one wants to save money, get Metrodome's Takara collection boxset rather than Madman's individual Headmasters/Masterforce/Victory/Zone sets, since the content will be largely the same (well, some differences), but Metrodome's set will likely be cheaper.
Madman's G1 set ( G1 as the American G1 cartoon) is probably the best official set around in terms of extras and stuff included. And of course, their Beast Wars DVDs are the best money can buy. Loads of extras on those. |
