What kind of super awesome Transformers Series would you make with the Autobots and Decepticons?

 

I would want an update of the G1 show with a cool-looking art designs. Probably something along the lines of RID/Armada animation style but with a good G1 storyline and G1 characters. That would be all kinds of awesome.

 

A Movie-verse cartoon, with a more serious and grim tone. Showing a real intergalactic war, with casualties and consequences.

 

I would like to see a prequal to beast wars, like a real series showing what happend before the beast wars on earth, or maybe showing the transition from Autobot/Decepticon to Maximal/Predicon i.e. "the great upgrade". If not those then I would like to see a real ending to G1 rather than the rebirth trilogy or the japanese trilogy series.

 

Classics Universe. Writing a fic for it now.

 

I've always wanted something that took place in a version of the G1 universe, but where the story followed totally new characters (for example, not those lead by Optimus Prime and Megatron... although maybe they could make cameo appearances, as they would be in the same continuity). Closest thing we've had to this was the Beast saga... actually I guess that's what I want, just with more vehicles and not on prehistoric Earth.
In my mental image of how this series would look, I imagine a lot of the characters having designs based off the Japanese series that we never got here in the US.

 

War Within, cartoon, really dark, really gritty, really awesome.
ow and with them swaring and stuff too like the comics. Me Grimlock badass.

 

War Within all the way, with some use of Stormbringer designs for good measure. And it would be violent as hell. Forget the children, this would be 100% aimed at teens & up. After a full season & a half, start migrating into a revised telling of G1 using updated designs ala Classics/Universe.

That's my dream.  

 

G1 with the Classics/ Universe designs, use the G1 voices who are still alive (Cullen, Welker, etc.), or sound alikes (hate to say it, but Tom Kenny is good at Starscream our maybe the actor who did Terrorsaur all those years ago). Maybe use elements from the IDW series, both sides more organized and spread out across the universe, and have Nemesis Prime's mysterious faction act as the 3rd party, sort of like the Quints.

 

Agree with the Classics/Universe, but it'd be a blending of the G1 origin and the IDW series with a faction of Autobots and a faction of Decepticons infiltrating to find the Ark and the Nemesis. (Is this the correct name? It was only ever named in BW)

 

My series would go like this:

The Autobots and Decepticons crash on prehistoric Earth.

They take the forms of dinosaurs.

Carnage ensues.

 

I'd go with a Classics Universe.   That and a War Within cartoon.

 

I would love to see a G1 continuation using the Classics/universe designs. Set maybe 50 or so years after the end of G1 (in usa). The war has been over for a while and the autobots and decepticons are united (at the begining). Prime is Leader, with Megatron as head of the miltary forces. Starscream is a rouge, hunted by both sides, and leads a smaller group of bots who want to be in power. Megs still wants power, but is biding his time for the right moment. I'm thinking of writing it up as a fan fic. Would be very much geared towards teens+ with some political intrigue and action.

 

I would like a series to deal with the 'master' idea. However what I would like to see is somewhat like the Japanese Headmasters. Where after the Armada series to protect themselves Mini cons created larger bodies to stop the Autobots and Decepticons from enslaving them. They would be a 3rd faction onto themselves. It would be a break from the same old Prime and Megatron battling.

 

I'd quite like a movie continuity cartoon and/or a war within one.

 

Race cars and Sport trucks. Stock Car Autobots vs. Decepticon Monster Trucks, sort of a mini series of five to ten episodes.

 

Combination of IDW and Classics-verse.

Probably a modern-day retelling of G1, using roughly the same characters but probably have different human characters... knowing me, I might want to have a female lead character who's more or less like me in real life. Of course, I'd do a retelling of the '86 movie and add in stories that could help explain who the newer characters like Ultra Magnus and Hot Rod come from, when they arrived on Earth, etc. that were never put into G1 TV.

 

A live action sci-fi TV series strictly following the IDW continuity, with IDW and Classics designs. For adults.
