Shockwave spotted in a MacGyver episode!

    I just got Season 5 of MacGyver today and was watching the first four episodes. On the 3rd episode MacGyver, while escaping from the bad guy, makes his way into this kinda Amusement Game area. He opens up one of the booths and it is a laser gun game. Only all the guns are the grey G1 Shockwaves! They had power cords, but it was Shockwave. I laughed when I saw that.

    Mac cut the cord attached the jewels the guy was after to the cord. Tied a cord around the bar holding the plywood front to the booth open. (kinda like a big wooden flap). Then wound it around one of the moving doohickeys of the game grabbed the power cord and got it ready to plug in. He lured the guy inside the building. When the guy sees the jewels and tugs on the cord, MacGyver plugged the power cord in. The thing moved winding up the rope which pulled the bar holding the flap open. This sent it flying down hitting the bad guy in the face.

    But yeah somehow you play the game with Shockwave. God you know you are a dork when you see something like that and it makes your day.

    How wonderfully bizarre. I just saw the Simpson's episode yesterday with Jay Sherman in it, where he told Patty and Selma that MacGuyver was gay.

    There was an old episode of Miami Vice where Crockett and Tubbs bust in on a money counter fitting operation, and one of the thugs is transforming a Shockwave.

    When my dad is thinking hard, he always says to himself: "Think, MacGyver, Think!"
    He also says that to hurry me when I have Math homework.
    I find it funny and annoying.

    Sweet, I'll need to pick up some MacGuyver, saw one recently and got all nostalgic.

    I had a Shackwave back in the day, found him in a Charles Michie (a nationwide chemist chain). I was so pleased with myself, as I was the only kid at school with a Shockwave, he wasn't released over here.
