Some time ago, BWTF joined forces with figures.com meaning they'd host the web space in exchange for things like ad space. Sounds like Ben is planning on hosting things him self once again so as not to be a part of figures.com anymore...

BWTF is also the first Transformers related website I ever posted at, and actually I still do post there... Sad to see it shut down for the time being. Looking forward to when it re-opens though.

There are alternatives:

- Dave's Transformers Page
http://www.eyrie.org/~dvandom/BW/

- doing random searches on youtube sometimes yields some interesting TF toy reviews. I've watched some from Goktimus Prime and have found them quite informative:

- If you don't mind total randomness and a navigation nightmare:
http://www.seibertron.com/database/r...iew=toyreviews

- And last but certainly not least, TFW2005's own "Transformers Feedback" forum:

I always feel a little bummed whenever Ben announces he's taking a break, which I suppose is kinda weird since I don't actually know the guy or anything. His site was the first TF site (heck, maybe the first website in general) that I visited regularly, back when it was beastwars.net. And the longer I stay with this fandom, the more I appreciate his positive attitude, especially in recent years. He's critical of some things just like everyone else, but you definitely get a sense that he LIKES Transformers, and he's not all about trashing Hasbro, or people who don't share his opinions. He's one of the few who I would actually label as a "true fan", and I hope his site's back up and running soon.

BWTF.com was the first TF site that I visited. Here's hoping it'll be back on someday.

I noticed it a few hours ago when I tried to get some info on some Robot Masters, and it was down. It was one of the first sites I went to before I became an exclusive member here at TFW, and still checked it out every once in a while.

'Nother of the BWTF regulars here. It's weird how the "shutting down" worked, I could still get it at seven this morning, but now, nothin'. Hopefully this works out and Ben can get the thing up and runnin' soon.

Like a few others here are sayin', BWTF is the first TF website, or, hell, website in general I really got into.

While it sucks that BWTF is down, he's probably better off on his own. He'll make a lot more money off of advertising without Figures.com taking their cut.
ToySightings.com

Will pay $$$ for: Godbomber Cannon, Japanese Sixbuilder #4 & Mattel Computer Warriors

Hey Scourge, is there like a temp board or something? I know I hadn't been around for a while, but still.
Take a gander at my collection.
