Long before the Transformers went to Nebulos and met aliens that conveniently turned into engines, heads, and of course, guns. There was Megatron. He did the whole turning into a gun-thing before it was cool.
So my question is: If Megatron hadn't been reformatted into Galvatron by the time season 3 had rolled around, how do you think he'd work with the Targetmaster technology? Maybe his Nebulan partner wouldn't transform and instead just stand there firing Megatron. 
I support Jazz for the sequel- stranger things have happened.

But then Megatron would have been Starscream's (remember, no galv = no deadscream) targetmaster.
So Starscream would have been a Targetmaster Targetmaster (Because minitron would clip underneath the barrel of megatron for the whole effect you dig). | |
